City-chic - 28 County House (3 bedrooms), with secure parking, is located at the front and on the 1st floor (lift access) of this stunning, historic building. Great for families, couples, friends and special events.

This very spacious, 2-storey accommodation is fully equipped, maintained and serviced to the highest standards for our guests' comfort and relaxation.

Set on 2 levels it offers 3 large bedrooms (two can be King or 2 x Single beds) with luxury mattresses, plumptious duvets and pillows as well as luxurious, high thread-count bed-linen. At entry level there is Bedroom 1 (King bed or 2 x singles) and TV/DVD plus the Family bathroom with dual-drench-shower over bath. The Master Bedroom with TV/DVD and ensuite shower-room is upstairs and also bedroom 3 (Super-King or 2 x single beds.) Fresh, soft, white bath-towels are provided. The open-plan Kitchen / dining / living room is a great space for socialising together and is equipped with TV/DVD player, Music system and free wi-fi access as well as modern furnishings, lots of cushions and accessories. Secure parking is available for one car and a large supermarket is just around the corner.

Ideally located for a York City holiday for any age - with restaurants/bars, shopping, history, art, museums, exhibitions and attractions, festivals, river-boats and walks all accessible on foot. So ... take a walk on the ancient Roman Walls around the city, hire a bike (secure bike-store on site), try a City-Bus tour, a river-boat trip, a bit of "retail therapy" (fabulous shops!), fine dining or, if you're up for it, a Ghost Walk ... whatever your choice you return to your apartment to relax, re-charge and enjoy the memory of each day.

Further afield, the outstanding Yorkshire Dales, Moors, Coastal resorts (Whitby, Filey, Scarborough), Historic Houses (eg. Castle Howard) and Market-towns nearby can be accessed by car or public transport.

We can make recommendations of things to do, restaurants to visit etc. Guests have our telephone number for contact during their stay and ..... whilst we are never far away, we will never be "in" the way!

No parties - We do not accept Stag or Hen groups. NO Pets allowed. Please adhere to the building's strict No-Smoking regulations and keep common areas such as halls and stairways clear and quiet. Children must not use the lift unless in company of an adult. Number/ & names of occupants strictly as per booking- no extra guests without permission.

Five of us stayed here for a family birthday. Great apartment very well situated. Could walk easily into town. Very very clean inside. Kitchen looks new. Would definitely return.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Keeley (the owner) a message.

If Keeley (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
