Use the complimentary kayaks & Paddle Boards to paddle around Muri lagoon or snorkel around stunning Taakoka island which is directly in front of the house or stroll off the lawn on to the white sand less than 5 minutes to the famous MURI beach, restaurants and cafes and night market.

The house is two level with mezzanine floor and two bedrooms, both with Air Con and bathrooms with a modern beach and island feel and is styled to a premium standard with full kitchen, outside dining, BBQ and sun loungers -don't forget the large lagoon facing salt water pool for your sole use during your stay!

Taakoka Villa is renowned as being in one of the most sought after locations - known by locals as the Muri Golden Mile. With Muri becoming so popular it has in recent years filled with resorts, this is one of the last beach front settings that is still non resort and we have worked hard to create a real island life experience and atmosphere that our guests love!

Every year we host more and more guests who have visited previously and return to Muri as it really is the capital of the island, many dont need a vehicle for the entire stay as so much is walking distance from the house including the now famous Muri Night Market just a 5 minute walk.

We will liase with you as to how you wish to arrive at the house and can help arrange either a airport transfer or provide directions to the house should you wish to drive from the airport (which is easy as there is one main road!) Once you are settled in to the house we are on hand to call and we stop by during your stay to ensure everything is satisfactory. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Adam (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
