This beautiful, recently-refurbished 3-bedroom duplex penthouse apartment nestles in the peaceful and picturesque mountainside development of Pueblo los Monteros. Featuring spectacular Mediterranean Sea and mountain views, the location offers the best of both worlds: a relaxing get-away-from-it-all retreat, yet just a few kilometres away from the Costa del Sol's premier attractions.

Situated between Marbella and the popular resort of Elviria (with its world famous Nikki Beach), the area caters for all tastes and ages. For those seeking culture, head for old-town Marbella or the traditional Moorish villages of Istan and Ojen; shopaholics will be spoilt for choice in the stores and boutiques of Marbella, Puerto Banus and La Canãda, and it’s a golfer's paradise too, with Santa Clara, Marbella Golf and Rio Real only some of the destination courses within a 10-15 minute drive. There are scores of lovely sandy beaches along the miles of Marbella coastline, including the relaxed resort of Bahia de Marbella (our local beach, right at the foot of Los Monteros) or the luxurious La Cabane Beach Club of the 5* Los Monteros Hotel, both only a 5-10 minute drive from the apartment. For those wanting to avoid the urban hustle and bustle, an assortment of supermarkets, retail outlets, restaurants, bars and leisure activities can be found in nearby Elviria or El Rosario. The surrounding countryside of the Sierra de las Nieves is perfect for walkers or cyclists, or simply exploring by car.

Built in the style of a typical Andalusian ‘pueblo blanco’, tranquil Pueblo los Monteros is a new luxury development, located only 55km from Malaga Airport. Set in beautifully landscaped and fragrant gardens, its secure community facilities include a large communal swimming pool, complete with showers, changing rooms and plenty of loungers.

This contemporary, air-conditioned apartment is set over the first and second floors of the block, and is equipped with all mod cons. It is lovely and bright, and simply, but comfortably furnished. It enjoys stunning panoramic views from its three terraces: the sea and coastline around Marbella to the south, and the mountains to the west. On a clear day, you can see Gibraltar and all the way to Morocco's Atlas Mountains.

The property is accessed via an external flight of tiled steps, and the entrance hall provides access to the accommodation on the first floor. The large living area includes a dining area for six, and two large sofas, from which you can relax and enjoy the fantastic views through sliding doors, leading out to a large terrace equipped with sofas and dining seating for six. Additional doors on the adjacent wall open onto a smaller balcony – perfect for watching the sunset over the mountains as you dine.

The adjoining kitchen includes a breakfast table, seating for four, and is fitted with a range of Bosch appliances and all the equipment needed for full self-catering. It leads to small utility room for the washing machine and dryer. There is also a bathroom on this floor, and a double bedroom with two single beds, an ideal children's room.

Upstairs, there are two more bright, airy en-suite bedrooms, each having access to the upper balcony, equipped with comfortable seating and sun beds - the perfect place for the first cup of tea of the day, sundowner cocktails or a final night cap. The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed, and a walk-in shower enclosure with a powerful shower. The second double bedroom includes a bath with a hand-held shower attachment. There is also a further communal seating area on this floor, complete with a small desk, just in case you do need to keep in touch with the work, while you are away. Parking is provided in a designated space in the gated underground garage.

Second floor:

Master Bedroom: King-sized bed, two double wardrobes, doors to upper terrace seating with sea and mountain views, en-suite with double walk-in shower, marble vanity unit, WC and bidet.

Bedroom Two: Double bed, fitted wardrobe, doors to upper terrace seating with sea and mountain views, en-suite with bath, marble vanity unit and WC.
