La Maison Bleue est une demeure classée de 1801 alliant grand confort et authenticité sur une propriété de 4 hectares de prés, vignes, et de bois. Une cabane perchée pour deux personnes y a fait son nid si vous avez l'esprit d'aventure. La réservation est en supplement ainsi que parure de draps et serviette si vous le désirez.

Adossée à la colline, en pleine campagne, dans le plus grand calme, à proximité de la rivière Dordogne et de tous commerces, notre gîte situé dans le triangle d'or du Périgord Noir (Sarlat la Canéda, Domme, La Roque Gageac) vous permettra de rayonner dans la Vallée de la Dordogne et de la Vézère.

Vous pourrez vous ressourcer en toute tranquillité dans le jardin clos privé autour de la piscine réservée à votre seul usage et de savourer un barbecue à l'ombre du plaqueminier .

That is part of its amazing location and charm. As you understand all the house renovation has been done upon the possibility "given" by the rocky environment. Constructing and renovating the house has been a real challenge and we are very happy you loved its particularity, it's troglodyte way of life ! We have described its rocky environment in Booking website and your comment make the house description even more appropriate to the next customers. Troglodyte means rocky, the Maison bleue is for sure not a hotel type residence and it makes all the difference ! Hope your continued vacation have been lovely. It has been a pleasure to welcome you! Dear Guests! What a surprise to receive such comments from you Ladies since I have talked only to your husbands It would have been nicer of you to talk to me directly isn't ' it..?! It is more than 10 years now we are renting the Gite de Charme. A lot of guests.. from all over the world ! La Maison Bleue is rated at least 4.5 on all websites we are in such as Google +, Booking, tripadvisor and so on..With regards to your delicate comments I will have to head to the description of the house that the gite is not suitable for people that can barely walk stairs and get the handrail at the same time and/or walk on uneven floor pass ways. I do remember our guests that was the only reason the male gave me why you decided to leave after one hour of stay, when females already in the ca, was “The Ladies couldn’t handle the relief of the gut due to their handicap”. I completely agreed with your decision. Safety is our primary concern. The house as shown on various pictures available on the site is built on rock with their troglodyte rooms that give her its unique charm. You told me you were sorry about the misunderstanding and were more looking for a “hotel type” where access is more suitable for them. You did ask me about the rules for guests who decide to leave on their sole decision. I told you I was not aware of neither it was the first time since we started to rent but will apply Tripadvisor regulations. You said ok and we shake hands, wishing you a safe trip back to your home countries. The only reason with your sarcasm and unpleasant comments is that you didn’t get a refund! As per Tripdavisor rules and regulation and every renting location, hotels, etc..! Instead of being unfriendly you should have watched the pictures of the house inside and outside, have read and be aware of the rules of the agency you are renting through and to discuss the situation directly with Tripdavisor and not spreading venom on people and website location whom are trying to do their best to please as much possible their guest since 10 years now! Although I will add to our description that the outside pool is not open in May when it it is 9 degrees in the morning and that color is a matter of choice. La Maison Bleue is really sorry not to be able to have fulfilled your desire. We do hope you have found a location more easy to access to your physical capabilities and where it doesn’t get “Slippery when wet”..A “Hotel type” and not a troglodyte country side Mansion Classé of 200 years old Wishing you all the best, Christophe I

In our opinion this property does not deliver what is promised. The access to the property was poor and would be quite slippery/dangerous if wet. Inside one of the beds had dirt/grit on it and the bed… More
