Beautiful first floor apartment overlooking the hills of Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales. Apartment is based in the pretty little village of Bainbridge, close to Hawes, Lake Semerwater, Aysgarth Falls and the Market Town of Leyburn, Ideal location for Walking, cycling, fishing or relaxing countryside breaks. The village itself boasts a village green with children's play area, tea shops, public houses and first class restaurants as well as river walks. The apartment owner was born and raised in the village so has a good knowledge of the surrounding area.

The apartment itself is perfect for a family holiday with a large ground floor entrance hall suitable for storage of walking or cycling equipment.

Rooms are large and will easily sleep 4 adults. The double bedroom is large enough to accommodate a travel cot should you wish to bring one with you for a baby or toddler.

The well stocked Kitchen diner has everything needed for a comfortable stay with plenty of facilities should you choose to eat in, including a large freezer and fridge, microwave, kettle and nespresso coffee machine. Complimentary starter pack provided.

Bedrooms have plenty of guest storage facilities, comfortable memory foam beds and all bedding and bed linen.

Bathroom consists of Bath with over bath mixer shower and WC.

Living room with two comfortable sofas and fireplace, coffee table TV and DVD with a selection of books, DVD,s and games provided.

The apartment is fully central heated and provides complimentary wi fi and has a parking area.

Owners originate from the village and have many contacts on hand to be able to help out should guests require any assistance. We like to think that guests feel welcomed and comfortable to treat the apartment as their own and we therefore will leave guests in peace and quiet with no interruptions. Very clean and welcoming apartment. Deceptively spacious and a well equipped kitchen. My only compliant was that it was too hot - but that's what windows are for!

Pleased to hear you had a lovely stay. Yes worth noting that village shops do open limited hours around the dales. There are some shops open later but only in the bigger towns of Leyburn, Caterick and Northallerton. We believe we offer value for money in the provision of unlimited tea, coffee, sugar, nepresso pods and a litre of milk and sweet treat to have on arrival. Also all store cupboard staples like salt and pepper and kitchen and cleaning items including foil, cling film and washing machine capsules are provided as these tend to be the items that people forget. As well as liquid soap and emergency toiletries. Worth being aware that both Tesco and Asda do deliveries that can be pre booked for your arrival as well with deliveries up to 10pm which guest's can also find very useful If they are expecting to arrive late. Also worth noting that the village tearooms open early for breakfast in a morning should you be without provisions on the first day. Hope this helps future visitors in planning their trip.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kenneth, Maureen and Andrea (the owner) a message.

If Kenneth, Maureen and Andrea (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
