Welcome to 1, Albion Cottages. A unique property , situated in the heart of Gloucester’s Docks. Its location is prime to all amenities, offering beautiful views of the surrounding historic dock, the place to be for an ideal city break retreat.

Few minutes walking distance are Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet, Gloucester town centre, museums, bars, restaurants cafes, antique and craft centres, newly open 6 screen multiplex cinema and open 24/7 gym that can be used on day-to-day basis for a small fee.

Gloucester Docks is home to the National Waterways museum, boat trips, Tall Ships and Food and Drink festivals. This is an ideal location for touring the Cotswolds, Forest of Dean, Tewkesbury and the regency town of Cheltenham, Cheltenham festivals and famous Gold Cup horse racing.

This beautifully restored and presented to a high standard, with solid oak flooring throughout, cottage offers the comfort and convenience of modern living at its best. There are three bedrooms, 2 x double, with king size beds and one single, new fully fitted kitchen with all new and modern appliances and granite worktops, 6-person dining room, sitting room and bathroom with bath and shower. Bathroom is located on the ground floor of the property. The garden, of the back of the property, with large sitting areas, offers an ideal place for relaxation and restful retreat.

A changeover day is flexible. Check in is from 4pm on the day of booking and check out is by 11am on the day of departure.

Any earlier check in and/or later check out can be accommodated by arrangement, but this must be agreed in advance.We allow small, well behaved dogs, but please enquire about it before booking.

Pre-authorised refundable security deposit of £150.00 is required.

Included with the accommodation is free private parking for one car in a secure carpark which is patrolled 24/7, as is the whole of the docks area.

Guests may park for up to 30 minutes at the front of the cottage for loading and unloading.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mike & Dorota (the owner) a message.

If Mike & Dorota (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
