Located in the beautiful English lake District in an exclusive area of privately owned properties in a very quite area of White cross Bay Holiday Park known as Calgarth and close to a woodland area which is great for dog walking, close to the edge of Lake Windermere itself. Calgarth Lodge is a 2020, 2021 and 2022 TripAdvisor 5 star award winner and is a very well equipped, centrally heated, cozy and modern lodge in excellent condition throughout. There is a large screen TV in the lounge with a DVD player. Also in the lounge there is feature fireplace, a comfortable corner sofa suite with foot stool. wifi is provided by White Cross Bay Holiday Park free of charge but it can be hit and miss at times and it is often unreliable. The lodge has double patio doors which lead out from the lounge onto the decked balcony where you will find tables and seating for four people. An iron and ironing board is provided, also a high chair and cot for the younger holiday makers. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed, lots of wardrobe and cupboard space, a tv and even an en-suite with full shower, wc and wash basin. The second bedroom has twin beds, a tv and again good wardrobe and cupboard storage space. There is a second separate shower room with step in shower sink and w/c. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need including a four ring gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave oven, toaster and kettle, pots and pans and dishes, cutlery etc and even a dishwasher., Fresh bedding and towels are provided for you. The lodge is centrally heated throughout so perfect for winter and summer breaks.

The holiday park has its own bar/restaurant and entertainment centre with free entry for guests, also there is an indoor heated swimming pool, Gym and sauna which require a pass to enter. . Each pass purchased lasts for the full duration of your holiday. The pass is optional and can be purchased at the reception office if required. Please note; This is a charge made by White Cross Holiday Park and Marina and NOT by the owners of this rental property. At peak times you may need to book a slot for use of the swimming pool which can be done at the holiday park's reception desk.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Paul (the owner) a message.

If Paul (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
