From the owner

La Farfollerie is a beautiful period house situated in Forges-les-Eaux within rural Normandy. Rooms are set over three floors, making for a comfortable stay for anywhere from 2 to 8 persons, with an enclosed pretty patio and garden at the rear. This well equipped house is tastefully furnished throughout with conveniences including English and French television, DVD player, Hifi, iMac computer and wireless internet access.

A very large bright kitchen/diner with French doors on to the gardenLiving room with comfortable sofas,TV etc and period fireplace.Two double rooms on the first floor, along with a bathroom with bath, shower, washbasins and WC. Separate further W.C. Two large bedrooms, a double and a twin, on the second floor. Also on the second floor is a new spacious bathroom, with walk-in shower, washbasin and WC. Both English and French television is available; internet access through both a dedicated iMac computer and Wi-Fi connection. A myriad of books, DVDs and boardgames are also provided.

Why can't I call Margaret (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Margaret (the owner) a message.

If Margaret (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
