The Shore is a beautifully decorated 1 bedroom cottage in the quaint fishing village of St Monans. We have set the theme of this 1 bedroom cottage to coastal Blues with white washed wooden floors. We have tried to create a tranquil soothing atmosphere were you can relax into as soon as you walk through the door. The open plan spacious lounge has a large sofa bed(FOR BOOKINGS OF 3 PEOPLE OR MORE) and a table / 4 chairs for dining on the catch of the day.... There is a window seat to sit and watch the sparkling waters of the shore below. The double bedroom has a Laura Ashley theme from their current Newport range with Egyptian cotton bedding and a memory mattress to help you have a comfortable sleep. There is a brand new wet room with a powerful shower. Everything has been thought of to make your holiday memorable including Wifi, DVDs, Board games, Barbecue. There is an outside seating area with a bistro set and this catches the afternoon sunshine perfectly! Just a gentle stroll will take you to some of the best restaurants and cafes in East Neuk. A personal favourite -The East Pier Smokehouse!

Pets are strictly by arrangement and there is a £35 pet fee. Pets are not allowed in the bedroom or allowed on furnishings. Any marks/hair on furnishings/carpet will incur additional charges to deposit. Please ensure all hair is removed from the property if your pet casts.. Please could you either wash any crockery and put away or load it in the dishwasher if you do not have the time. Your help in this is greatly appreciated, thanks

Gillian, I was rather disappointed by you review, particularly as I contacted you after your first night to check how things were.Your response was that everything was ok. That clearly is a vast contrast to what you have written. If you had highlighted the issue with the cleanliness, I would have had the housekeeper ( Who is meticulous in her regime) to redo the changeover at your convenience. I have never in 4 years had a review like yours and have maintained a 5 star rating throughout. Liz

How do damage deposits work?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Elizabeth (the owner) a message.

If Elizabeth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
