From the owner

A fabulous 6 bedroom manor house, sleeping up to 12 people and available to rent all year round. This spacious house is the perfect place to get together with family and friends. Surrounded by 5 acres of gardens which include a private 6 hole golf course, a grass tennis lawn (June - September), outdoor table tennis and children’s play area there really is something for everyone. The Manor House is situated in the village of Richards Castle and only 3 miles from the beautiful market town of Ludlow, Shropshire.

Inside this Large 6 Bedroom Holiday House near Ludlow

You enter the Manor House to a beautiful large entrance hall with views over the golf course and nearby hills. This property features ample living space with a TV lounge with comfy sofas, large TV, DVD player and BT Sport, as well as a second spacious sitting room which is a lovely place to unwind - calm, spacious and comfortable. The games room has a pool table, air hockey and choice of board games. The large dining room is perfect for entertaining and the large, well-equipped kitchen makes catering for everyone a pleasure. Beyond the kitchen, with a back door to the patio, is a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer & second fridge.

Upstairs are the six bedrooms:

• a master bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath, walk in shower and large adjacent dressing area with a day bed which converts to 2 single beds (perfect as a family suite).

• A twin bedroom which has zip and link beds so you can have them set up as a king or two singles (don’t forget to let us know your preference).

• A bedroom with king-size bed that leads through to the bunk room.

• A single bedroom.

• A double bedroom.

For the little ones we have 2 travel cots and one travel bed guard available

There are two further bathrooms – one family bathroom with a slipper bath, walk in shower, two sinks and a toilet. There is also a shower room with toilet and sink.

Bed Linen: The rental price includes duvets and pillows however bed linen and towels are charged at £10 per person.

The decision to do this was made in our second year after many guests asked if they could have a discount if they brought their own linen. So we lowered the price and offered it as an extra. We promise it is not a way of making extra money just simply a way of keeping the base price as low as possible.

Further details outdoors

There are five well maintained areas of garden which include a grass tennis court and 6 hole golf course.

To the south west of the house there is a large terrace with patio table and chairs and a charcoal barbecue - ideal for al fresco dining, then steps up to areas of lawn, pond and kitchen gardens (including a herb garden which you are welcome to use). To the south of the house is the grass tennis lawn and large areas of lawn.

The six hole golf course has well maintained fairways and professionally laid greens.

The grass tennis court is playable from June to September subject to good weather conditions.

At the top of the garden there is a children’s’ play area with swings, a slide, a trampoline, rope swing and zip wire. Around the garden you will also find a wooden wendy house and tree house.

At the front of the property there is plenty of parking.

Our house manager lives in a small cottage at the back of the Manor House. She will see you to let you in and give you a quick tour of the house. If you need anything during your stay then she is more than happy to help (where she can!) but otherwise will leave you to enjoy your holiday.
