The property is a charming rural resort situated in the heart of the refreshing and peaceful countryside 50 km northbound from the Oporto airport. Atlantic coast line is 6 km drive and the attractive medieval riverside towns of Viana do Castelo are 20 minutes drive.

The Villa and the ensuite cottage within an area of 3000 m2 have an excellent solar exposure and are fully walled confinning with vineyards, pine tree forest and the road. The gardened area has dozens of qualities of flowers, plants and old trees plenty of refreshing shadows ideal for children.

Set in lawns near the cottage there is a 12 x 5 m swimming-pool 1,90m depth with the pool area having adjoining covered terrace, shower and closet. Barbecue at open air and a picturesque bread and roast oven with a cellar in the cottage.

This typical villa is composed by the ground and first floor. The front door opens directly into the attractiv ely furnished living room. here sofas and armchairs are set around a panoramic (360º) fireplace. In front of you a plate glass window runs the full width of the room and gives an over view of large granitic terrace and courtyard and vines.
In the middle of the open space room there is a dinning table to seat 10 just in front of the kitchen. On the first floor you have 4 bedrooms including a double bedroom with ensuite facilities with jacuzzi. 2 double bedrooms and another room with 3 single beds sleeping up to 10.

Ola Miguel! Thank you very much for you sincere and honest review. Thank you very much for taking so much care of the garden; green and plants were carefully watered! , the pool was perfect (water and floor were patiently cleaned!) . The house was clean and tidy and no item was damaged.Thanks again. As regards to the ' high temperature ' inside the house: the house is antique and an air conditioning is inappropriate. We have a fan per room and lounge. The house is totally stone walled (60-90 cm depth) and naturally fresh and has an extra isolation material (4 cm depth ). What I use to do is to keep doors and windows perfectly closed all day long and to open windows at bedtime. I will try a climatisor next year. You are welcome. I strongly recommend your families to other owners! Ricardo

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ricardo (the owner) a message.

If Ricardo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
