Set in a secluded little valley in South East Cornwall, Trenedden Barn offers spacious and uncluttered accommodation in a beautiful setting. Fantastic beaches are only a couple of miles away, and Looe, Polperro, Lerryn and Fowey are all close by.

Thanks a lot for your nice review Alex, and for your improvement suggestions after your stay - the lack of coat hooks has been corrected ! We've also just added a classic, Swedish, Husqvarna waffle maker to the kitchen equipment - it makes waffles so good it's worth a return visit to the barn just to try them !

Many thanks for your kind review. It really is great when we find people who love the place as much as we do. We hope to welcome you many more times. Fowey is another great place for restaurants and it's fun to take the passenger ferry from Polruan. For beach action with small children we drive to the NT car park beyond the church in Lansallos and walk down to the Cove. Harder work coming back uphill but worth it!

Many thanks for the review. We're delighted you love Blanches as much as we do. Good news for 2012: Waitrose now delivers (as well as Tesco) - a great help when providing for the masses. There is an excellent fishmonger in Fore Street, Fowey as well as the one you found near the fish market in Looe... Lastly, we find the easiest way to get small children to the beach is to drive (2 minutes) to the NT car park in Lansallos and walk down the gentle Smugglers' track past the church. Lansallos Cove is a lovely sand/shingle beach with a waterfall and stream to play in and it's good for swimming. Well worth it!

Many thanks for the review. We've very glad you had a good birthday break! Blanches has hosted many family celebrations over the years for groups of 2 up to 14+ people. We accept dogs and we're fully geared up for babies and small children. The valley below the house is stunning but for beach access it's easiest to walk along the lane and down the Church path to lovely Lansallos Cove. If it's too cold for a swim, there's always the Fowey Hall Hotel Spa's indoor pool - we offer complimentary access for our guests.

Many thanks for the review. It gives us great satisfaction to know you like being at Blanches so much!
