This contemporary semi-detached stone barn conversion is situated on the small holding 'Tŷ Hen Henllys' with stunning coastal, mountain and countryside views. On a clear day you can see Bardsey Island, Lleyn Peninsula, and from the patio you can see for over 30 miles, stretching from Aberdovey along the Dovey Estuary to Cadair Idris and beyond.

Bwlch Cliced has been decorated and furnished to a very good standard giving particular consideration to local heritage and history, our furnishings and artwork are carefully chosen on the theme of wool, in particular the Welsh Garthen (tapestry blanket) which were produced in a variety of patterns and colours.

Ear-marks on sheep or other animals were served as a sign of ownership. This form of marking was important in mountainous areas where animals were allowed to graze in open country. Bwlch Cliced is the name of one such ear-mark, different farms have their own combination of ear-marks that they use.

The work of our village artist, Ruth Jên from her 'Welsh Ladies' and 'Home Spun Cloth' series are prominent features of the décor.

Stayed for four days in this beautiful cottage. Lovely views and great location. Hot tub is amazing after day hiking. On a clear night can gaze at the stars. Felt like home.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Bwlch (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
