A simple but stunning accommodation that will suit the business traveler or a family wanting a place to relax and yet be close to all the action. The house sits opposite a church in a very safe and communal environment. It is very easy to go into central Accra and surrounding areas of interest. the house is a minute walk from the main road where you can easily hail a taxi or a bus (known as tro-tro.) The university of Ghana is 10 minutes away in a car and certainly worth a visit. The main shopping mall in Accra is a 15 minutes ride away. If relaxing and eating fresh lobsters and drinking cocktails by the beach is more to your taste, you have a choice of 3 beaches 45 to 60 minutes drive away. Be sure to watch a sunset at the beach -it's breath-taking . A canoe crossing at Bojo beach is great fun if you are travelling with kids and don"t miss out on having a go on the jet skies. Alternatively try your hands at golfing 10 mins drive away from the house at the Achimota golf course. If you are pro golfer, a great opportunity to play with other professionals. Do you have a proclivity to charity work or volunteering in a community? In which case, you will find many places locally that will give you the opportunity to make a difference and enrich someone's life as well as yours. The main road in Dome is lined with restaurants, bars, convenience shops, pharmacies, hairdressers, barbers , banks and Forex bureaus. The street is always alive at night and an interesting and safe place to walk .

It was very close to legon and achimota which was great for me. transport links were very close. Rosie was easy and very helpful to deal and my stay was extremely hospitable. Water, electricity, wifi … More

the A/C only worked in 1 room and the entire place was hot and muggy. the TV was stuck on one channel, had no volume and the dvd player didn't work. the house needs a lot of work and needs renova… More

Hi Robin, thank you very much for your succinct feedback. I am very please to inform you that since your stay in April, all rooms now have ac. ( it was only advertised with one room) a new refrigerator is in the kitchen. Tv and dvd issues (a new tv and dvd player) have also been sorted out and the property has a new house keeper. I am pleased your partner got to view the property before you accepted it. Lack of street names can make finding places in Accra difficult and regret that was the case for you. It is a shame that many roads in Ghana are still under construction and hopefully a time will come when all our roads are up to western standard. Your feedback is highly valued and appreciated and we will continue to work hard on improving and maintaining the property satisfactorily for all clients. We hope you will visit again soon and experience the new and improved H.H for yourself. Why can't I call Rosie (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rosie (the owner) a message.

If Rosie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
