Description

Regina Rossa is hidden at a secluded low hill overlooking the Ionian Sea on the northern coast of Corfu just 950 meters away from it. The villa is situated just outside a traditional small Corfiot village and close enough to summer resorts such as Acharavi, Roda, Kassiopi and Sidari. Ideal for one or more families who are holidaying together and are looking for relaxing, comfortable and stylish holidays. The property is build by the owners for private use with great attention to detail, in complete harmony with the landscape and the traditional Corfiot color scheme. The villa consists of two semidetached accommodations. The main one is a maisonette of 200 m2 in three levels. It can host up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms and 1 studio,3 bathrooms, spacious living room, large kitchen with dining table and two big verandas for enjoying eating and seating outside close to the swimming pool. The second one is used solely for bigger groups and can bring the total capacity of the villa to 14 people. It is 120 sq. m. and has 2 bedrooms and 1 studio, 2 bathrooms plus indoor and outdoor seating and dining areas offering privacy if and when is required. The two accommodations are connected (communicating verandas etc) and form a large one.

The area around the pool of more than 150 meters with unique sea view can also host your wedding party!

Large fully equipped kitchen, A/C and WiFi through out the entire villa plus a table tennis, toys, baby cots and chairs, bath and pool towels and 5 days pr week are some of the service and facilities offered.

“This Villa made Our Senior Trip all the more Exceptional”

We rented this villa as a group of 14 friends for exactly one week and basically could not have been luckier. The villa is absolutely stunning and left all of us more than enough personal space all the while enabling us to all sit together for meals and lounging by the pool. The rooms were put together with a lot of attention to detail and instantly made us feel at home. Additionally, the owner could not have been more helpful and more kind, constantly asking ask if we needed anything and recommending us the best towns and beaches to go spend the day, all the while giving us updates on the weather forecast, so we could plan accordingly. Along with the maid, who came in at whatever time suited us best in the morning, which was definitely more than ideal, Stamatis definitely ensured that evrey single thing ran smoothly, which, for the large group of young adults that we were, was more than helpful. Regarding the location of the villa, it not only provided the most beautiful view but the remoteness allowed us to have some privacy and enjoy playing music without having to worry about bothering any neighbors. Since we could not rent a car, we got bikes, which although is not the easiest of options to get around, made the holiday very pleasant. We were able to organize day trips to nearby cities and biking around definitely kept us in shape. It was also beautiful to be able to ride along the beaches of Roda and Achavari. When it came down to do grocery shopping, we would simply get taxis back up to the villa, since the hill from the main road to the house is definitely not one you can bike up. But for us it was never a problem and the taxi drivers, who ended up pretty much knowing us all, were extremely helpful. The bus system, which is perhaps not the most timely, was also a great way for us to join the main town of Corfu, where the old fortress is definitely worth a visit and where you can also join some very nice boat trips to the island of Paxos. It should probably be noted that we had someone who spoke Greek among us and that definitely facilitated any communications. All in all, our stay ended up being one of the best holidays we've ever had, with a good balance between relaxing at the villa, enjoying the pool and view and going on little adventures around the area with our bikes, discovering the little treasures of the island.

This villa is absolutely beautiful, and the pictures definitely don't do it justice. The inside is cozy and welcoming, and the outside has a view that will simply take your breath away. Situated close to town (15 min. walk) and the beach which was extremely convenient. Would definitely recommend this villa and would love to go back!

We have just returned from two fantastic, faultless weeks staying at Villa Regina Rossa with our large 2-family party of twelve (4 adults, 6 teenagers, and 2 children). There was ample space for everyone to really relax and enjoy the fabulous pool, and the uninterrupted views of the Adriatic and the dramatic Albanian coast line. The villa is situated about 2-3 km back the coast in a raised position amongst the olive grove farms. Stamatis (the owner) went out of his way to make us welcome, and to look after our every need & request - in fact the level of support we received from Stamatis during our stay far exceeded what we have experienced from other managed villas costing over twice as much per week. For example, when we asked for driving directions to the villa, rather than send us an email, Stamatis drove to the airport, met us off the plane, and then personally escorted us back to the villa ! Not to mention the freshly picked figs, and hand made marmalade that his onsite staff brought us most mornings...a real delight to have such personal touches. The Villa is ideally positioned to get to the higher end restaurants in Kassiopi (20 mins) and Corfu (45 mins), as well as being only 5 mins by car from the local town of Acharavi with its many traditional style restaurants. We also cooked in many evenings, and the excellent kitchen facilities make catering for a large group very straight forward. Strongly recommend this villa without hesitation.
