Casa Caribe is located in a quiet neighborhood at “Punta Borinquen”, the northwest tip of the island of Puerto Rico, on the former site of Ramey Air Force Base. This area is perfect for your Caribbean getaway vacation, with lots of things to do while surrounded by great beaches and natural beauty. For a large group of 20 you can rent our three properties Casa Caribe, Casa Sunset, and Villa Caribe. Our facilities have been recently remodeled and are equipped with air conditioning, new furnishings and appliances. For inquiries, fill out the form on our reservations page.

Thank you for the suggestions. We are happy you enjoyed your stay at Casa Sunset and look forward to having you visit again soon. This summer the tree had an over abundance of mangoes, which was good for our guests who enjoyed the fresh, free mangoes, but we will be trimming it to avoid the possibility of it dripping on a car in that one parking spot. Thanks for your feedback. We enjoy the breeze that flows through the backyard, and the trees, plants, and bamboo privacy weaving that we have in the fence are hard to see through and we think is a better alternative than a solid cement fence which may block the breeze. We rarely have seen any neighbors there. It is nice and shady, where we also have a picnic table and hookups for the hammock , so our guests can enjoy a nice lunch and a nap. Thanks Again!

Thank you for the review and for your suggestion. We were not aware of the air conditioning issue and have sent someone to take care of it. Our manager, who checked you in, lives only two blocks away and is always available to address and fix any issues that might need attention. Our guests like the location since it is close to some world class beaches, as well as to restaurants and shopping. We have a lot of recurring guests who enjoy the coldness the air conditioning in the bedrooms provide. We look forward to your future reservations when you visit visit to the Porta del Sol area.

Why can't I call Ivette (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ivette (the owner) a message.

If Ivette (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
