Kalathas sandy beach is located less than 2kms distance. Chania old town with its cosmopolitan Venetian Harbour is located just a short drive away ( 7 kms). The small town of Kounoupidiana caters for all needs, with three large supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and petrol stations, cafes and tabernas, fresh fish shops.

Marathi, Loutraki, Stavros and Tersanas, are some of the other nearby sandy beaches, reached by car, in distance from 3 to 7 kms.
