Good quality 3 bed, 3 bath Villa with private Pool, and arguably the best view in Barga! Treat yourselves!

Treat yourselves to a stay at this wonderful villa, which has been redecorated for 2023, with some new furniture too, along with new mattresses and some new appliances. The villa, sleeping 5 plus 1 has been renovated by the owner with his own holidays in mind, so a great deal of thought has gone into the preparation of this property, which has been designed to take full advantage of the unrivalled views of Barga seen from the house, gardens and pool. Home from home.

Casa roc has been fully modernised, but has not lost its rustic charm, with wood floors, beamed ceilings and character features throughout, blending seamlessly with modern comforts! There is a real feel of romance, and whilst great for families, the house is ideal for honeymoons.

The property is just a 300/400m walk from a bar at the village pool, and a restaurant (open 3 nights per week) , and a half hour stroll into Barga cross country.

There are 3 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom (2 fully en-suite), a welcoming open plan living/diner, and a designer kitchen. Each of the living areas, and two of the bedrooms overlook the garden, pool and the view of Barga with the mountains beyond. There are lots of large windows providing a fantastic light and airy space to relax.

Outside, there is quality outdoor relaxing and dining furniture, with plenty of shade provided by the canopy which covers the outdoor living area, and an enormous umbrella for dining al fresco in comfort.

The pool is fully surrounded by sunbathing terraces from which one can relax and enjoy the countryside and the views.

A little about the area

Situated in Albiano, with stunning views of Barga, and the mountains beyond, this property is a perfect retreat, less than a 5 minute drive from the Mediaeval town of Barga, with its hilly windy cobbled streets, duomos, 10th Century cathedral and ancient architecture. Barga is also renowned in the area for its good quality, but reasonably priced restaurants. There are often outdoor concerts/plays performed many times free of charge with performances ranging from Rock and Pop, to Jazz and the Classics.

Within easy walking distance, is the village of Albiano with its good restaurant, and local village bar.

Barga itself is circa 1 hour 15 mins from Pisa, 1 hr 40 mins from Florence;50 minutes from the beautiful walled mediaeval city of Lucca and close to the National Parks of the Apuane Alps.

Hilltop villages abound, and exploring can be either townie or totally rural - the choice is yours, if you can tear yourselves away from the house!
