This south facing self catering holiday villa (max. 4 guests) with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms has a private swimming pool, plus a private jacuzzi / hot tub and free wifi. It is set overlooking the beautiful Andalucia countryside, a perfect base for your vacation in Andalucia. This holiday accommodation is air-conditioned, heated and double glazed, is set above peaceful, private woodlands perfect for artists, bird watchers or just people who enjoy beautiful countryside. There is private off road parking and the villa is located a 30 minute drive from Malaga airport and 15 minute drive from the fantastic beaches of the Costa Del Sol. The El Corcho guests have sole use of all areas of the villa, patios, roof terrace, gardens and both the Swimming Pool and Spa Pool / Hot Tub. The villa, gardens and patio have spectacular views across the Mijas Mountains and towards Alhaurin el Grande. The roof terrace has breathtaking 360 degree views of the surrounding beautiful Andalucia countryside and is a wonderful place to sit in the evening with a glass of wine.The villa is equipped to a high standard and includes quality wooden furniture, hand crafted kitchen with granite work surfaces, air conditioning A/C, heating, free Wireless Internet Access, TV, CD, DVD player, fully fitted kitchen, garden furniture including sun loungers and BBQ, all linen and towels.All areas of this country house, hot tub, swimming pool and grounds are private and for the sole use of the villa guests. The villa has its own entrance gates, is totally hedged and fenced and is private and not overlooked.This holiday villa, in Alhaurin el Grande, near Malaga, has a hand crafted wooden kitchen with granite work surfaces and is fully fitted with gas cooker with oven and 4 ring hob, extractor, fridge / freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board, pans, crockery and cutlery. There are tea towels and cloths provided. In addition there is a gas BBQ on the patio outside so you can enjoy being outside in the fresh air while you cook the meals.This holiday villa has a lovely double bedroom with KINGSIZE bed and benefits from its own en-suite bathroom.It has air-conditioning, full heating, ceiling fan light, good quality double bed, fully fitted wardrobe, bedside table with lamp, dressing table, mirror and hairdryer.The other room comes with twin beds (but you can join them if you wish). It is air-conditioned, full heated and has ceiling fan light. There are two good quality single beds, fully fitted wardrobe, bedside table with lamps, dressing table and mirror.All bed linen is provided with additional pillows and blankets if required, the beds have duvets in the Winter and sheets and blankets in the Summer.

"Ordinaire" ? Peut-être selon vous mais le prix payé étant de 21,50 euros par nuit et par personne, pour de l'extraordinaire, il faut sans doute prévoir un budget plus généreux. Il n'y a pas de planchers mais des sols en carrelage. Les murs des salles de bains sont aussi en carrelages et donc, après une douche chaude, la vapeur d'eau contenue dans l'air entraîne une condensation sur les carrelages froids étant donné que nous sommes en hiver. Désolé, mais nous n'y pouvons rien. De même que pour les serviettes qui peuvent rester humides par mauvais temps. Nous mettons un lave linge à la disposition des hôtes. Il est généralement utilisé lors de séjours d'une semaine ou plus. En revanche, c'est la première fois que des personnes font 2 lessives lors d'un séjour de 3 nuits ! Quant au barbecue, c'est par gentillesse et pour la tranquillité d'esprit des hôtes que je précise qu'en cas de besoin, je peux sans problème venir changer la bouteille de gaz sur simple demande. De là à ne pas oser s'en servir, les bras m'en tombent... Je rappelle que vous n'avez pas respecté l'heure d'arrivée prévue et que vous vous êtes présentés une heure et demie en avance. Enfin, contrairement aux instructions données, vous avez laissé toutes vos poubelles sur place au lieu de les emporter avec vous et les débarrasser dans les containers disposés partout le long des routes et en ville.

Thank you for this review. We offer a self-contained villa. We are not (and don’t pretend to be) a 5 star residence with 24/7 service and yet do our best efforts to be as available and helpful as we can be. You write that the house needed some maintenance… We live very close to the villa and when something is broken or does not work properly, we fix it or replace it immediately. Throughout these past 4 years, we have tried to improve the property : all the beds and mattresses are new, we changed the Jacuzzi last year, both couches were changed last year for new ones, the barbecue is brand new, we have added a second refrigerator as the one in the kitchen is quite small for 4 people, we have offered a high chair and the baby cot free of charge. This beeing said, sorry but we are not planning to make any further major investments or renovation. Anyway, we do not claim to be perfect whatsoever and are glad to read that you had a lovely stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send JEAN MICHEL (the owner) a message.

If JEAN MICHEL (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
