This double-fronted cottage is in the village of Catton near to Allendale and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Dale View is a lovely double-fronted cottage situated in the village of Catton, near the town of Allendale in Northumberland. The cottage sleeps four people in one double bedroom and one twin, together with a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Outside is off road parking for one car. Dale View is a delightful cottage from which to explore this stunning part of the country, with plenty to see and do nearby.

Amenities: LPG central heating with woodburner. Range with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, Wifi, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car, plus additional parking in pub car park. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops 1.5 miles.

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrians Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: The town of Allendale was once the centre of a busy lead mining area, and many relics of the mining era remain around the area. Allendale is ideally placed for access to Carlisle to the west, Hexham to the east or the Roman Wall just to the north. There are lots of walks and unspoilt villages in the surrounding North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding countryside or travelling further north to the glorious Heritage Coastline.
