Quinta D'Avó Amelia is a rural area, dating from the end of the 19th century, situated a mere 14 km from Aveiro and only 5 km from the junction of the A1 and A25 motorways. It is located in a quiet rural area, in the place of Beduido, Alquerubim. It was, over several generations, the residence of its owners and a family home where all who arrived were received with affection and hospitality. Maintaining these values, our property is, above all, our home, the house where we live moments of our childhood, the home of our parents and grandparents, but also the home of all those who want to visit us. Its charm is in the diversity of spaces, in the preservation of the furniture, in the integration with nature, in the diversity of the trees that dot the lawn, in the flowers, in the chirping of the birds ... The remodeling of this house was done carefully in order to maintain the identity owning a country house, always integrating the furniture and utensils of other times, punctuated here and there by paintings by current artists, adapting it to the new standards of comfort. The Portuguese sidewalk, so typical of our country, was not forgotten in its inner courtyard where it coexists with a garden full of flowers. It is a pleasant and safe place for children too. The old tree-lined tank, integrated in a relaxing environment, has also been restored to allow people to refresh themselves on warmer days. The former winery integrated in the winery, is now part of a convivial space. Environmental and ecological concerns are also part of our values. The balance of our small ecosystem is one of our concerns. Renewable energies are the source of the heating of sanitary waters and central heating. Bicycles are available for those who want to pedal and thus know some of the most pleasant places around our space and the Ria de Aveiro.
