The central location of Altendiez is an ideal starting point for numerous excursions and activities during your holiday in the beautiful Lahn valley. From here you can reach castles and palaces as well as the cozy old town of Diez and Limburg with its ice cream parlors and shopping facilities in a few minutes. Cycling and hiking trails cross the most beautiful areas with many places for hospitable retreats and panoramas that mean magical moments. Opportunities for jogging / walking, playing tennis, a boat trip on the Lahn, two swimming lakes in the immediate vicinity, swimming pools, mini golf, playgrounds and much more. You can relax from recreational activities and sports: You want to do some sports? Explore the Lahn valley once from the river by canoe. Water hiking on the Lahn, one of the most romantic and water-friendly rivers Germany-wide therefore also suitable for children!     How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
