The Ammanford area
Few holiday cottages in Wales can boast a location as desirable as this. Located within the Brecon Beacons National Park, the local area offers fishing, horse riding and golf as well as a friendly local pub in the village. Nearby the Black Mountains offer ample opportunity for walking, hiking and biking or for a quieter day out the picture postcard town of Llandeilo offers unique crafts, art and gifts by local artists.

They were originally used for corn threshing and a pig sty. The properties are set within stunning countryside close to the ancient market town Llandeilo, which has an interesting selection of individual shops, galleries and eateries.

They are within easy reach of the breath-taking scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the beaches of West Wales and the splendid gardens of the Towy valley. The National Botanic Gardens of Wales, with its great glasshouse, and Aberglasney Gardens are just minutes away. The bustling town of Carmarthen and the city of Swansea are both easily reached by car.

There is superb fishing in the area too with the river Towy providing excellent salmon and sewin (sea trout) fishing, whilst for those more active the cottages are located between several excellent mountain bike trails. For nature lovers, the area abounds with wildlife, with red kites regularly seen from the barns. The Gower Peninsular has some wonderful beaches with great surfing, including Three Cliffs Bay which is less than 25 miles away.
The Brecon Jazz festival is a great occasion, taking place in early summer each year or nearby Swansea often has events and festivals through the season. Also nearby are parks, castles, a zoo and theme park.
The boutique town of Llandeilo is just 3 miles away with some great Restaurants and Pubs in a typical rural setting. Within walking distance of the town is the Dinefwr Estate which was recently reviewed and photographed by Conservationist Mike Howe - Dinefwr Estate

Enjoy the many attractions the area has to offer. Whether it's adventuring in the Brecon Beacons National Park, visiting the National Botanical Gardens or exploring the neighboring heritage sites
