From the owner

Seven newly built apartments situated in the little fishing village of Ammoudia, a small resort by Acheron river. Each one is fully furnished and has1 bedroom and 1 attic room suitable for 2-7 persons. A fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare all your meals is also available and there's a free Wi-Fi connection covering the whole complex.

The village has a delightful sandy bay with shallow bathing, ideal for families with young children. There is free, public parking space in front of the complex and the beach is just a couple of minutes walk. The river bank is at 50m, with plenty of cafes and Greek taverns serving local dishes and fresh fish delivered by the local fishermen every morning.

Ammoudia is a place with a variety of things to do! Acheron river offers an experience of outstanding natural beauty, as the area is protected by the Natura 2000 Network. You could sail up and down the river using a boat or a kayak, getting a chance to see an exotic setting full of wildlife. At the village of Glyki, where the springs of the river are located, you can try horse riding by the river bank.

Every day, a vessel departs from Acheron river to the magnificent islands of Paxoi-Antipaxoi. There you can swim in crystal, blue water and visit impressive caves. Another vessel can carry you to the lively resort of Parga for a night walk through its narrow streets, full of shops, cafes and greek tavernas. Parga is also easy accessible by car, being only 15 km away (15 minutes drive).

If you like fishing, you can take your chance where the river meets the sea and plenty of fish look for food. Even if you don't catch any, you will be able to experience a magical setting, especially during sunset time...!

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Alexandros (the owner) a message.

    If Alexandros (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
