Captain’s House is situated on the second and third floor of a historic building (National Heritage) from 1652.

The location of the apartment is right in the heart of the old city, in a residential and pedestrian street making it easy to reach and a perfect base to explore the city by foot, bike or public transportation.

We believe that a holiday is so much more comfortable in a clean environment, so we put extra effort to deliver a sparkling clean apartment.

On arrival and leaving luggage will be brought up and down for you.

Also on arrival I take you on a tour through the neighborhood to show you the nice places to eat and shop.

The first floor consist the Master bedroom with a large double bed. Bathroom with rain shower and toilet. There is also an extra separate toilet.

The second bedroom is cosy and with two single beds which also can be made up as a double kingsize bed.

There are plenty of towels, toilet paper and organic shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

From the second bedroom you walk straight into a very sunny and quiet terrace.

The entire second floor consist of a spacious living room with two comfortable couches and a small but fully equipped kitchen.

There is also a television, cd and dvd player with a large selection of dvd series and movies.

The kitchen is provided with organic oils, vinegar, herbs and spices.

There is also a counter with organic coffee and teas.

It will be a pleasure hosting you in Captain’s House!

House rules

The absolute maximum guests is 4, it is ileagal for me to rent out to 5 even if this is a baby.

Nobody else is allowed into the apartment besides the guests without consent of the owner.

I do not take young groups, we live in the apartment below it and experience proves this is not a working match.

Smoking is not allowed, if it happens damage deposit will be claimed for extra cleaning and dry cleaning curtains etc.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Arjen (the owner) a message.

If Arjen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
