This terraced cottage in the centre of Appleby-in-Westmorland sleeps three people in two bedrooms.Blacksmith Cottage is a terraced, former Blacksmith's cottage in the town of Appleby-in-Westmorland. This cottage sleeps three people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one single, and there's a bathroom available. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with breakfast bar and a sitting room with dining area and gas fire. Outside there's off road parking for one car and a raised patio that leads to a mature garden area with furniture. Blacksmith Cottage is a lovely base for a couple or small family who wish to explore this wonderful area. Please note: Owner only accepts 7 night stays in June, July and August.

Amenities: Electric central heating with gas fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing/dryer, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Raised patio leading to mature garden area with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 min walk. Note: Stone steps lead down from the patio to the rear entrance door and to the mature garden.

Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Town: The historic town of Appleby-in-Westmorland is situated on a loop of the River Eden and is overlooked by the Pennine range. The town offers shops and pubs, along with a Norman Castle, a medieval Church and a horse fair in June. Appleby is a major stop on the Settle-Carlisle Railway, and within reach are both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks.

Comfy house in a great location
