From the owner

This lovely stone built cottage is in one of the Dales' most picturesque villages. The cottage is set well back from the road with large gardens. It has a south facing conservatory which enjoys wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. Beyond the back garden is the fell with sheep grazing and the pheasants roaming. With little to disturb the peace and quiet, Fellside makes an ideal base for a relaxing Dales holiday. Sleeps 5 + 1 with three bedrooms and one newly refurbished bathroom.

Appletreewick is in the heart of Wharfedale and boasts 2 award winning traditional pubs, both of which serve food and traditional ales.

We welcome well behaved pets.

Accommodation includes living room with wood burning stove. Light and bright with wonderful view of the Dale; Small south facing conservatory with views across the Dale. It has a newly refitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave, dining room seating 6. Upstairs is a double bed room, a twin bed room with uninterrupted view up the fell and a single room which also has a full sized folding bed available if required. Brand new bathroom with toilet, bath with shower over.

Our housekeeper lives locally and works to make the cottage spotless on changeover days. Liz and James (owners) live at least an hour away but are available at the end of a freephone landline in the cottage should the need arise.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send James (the owner) a message.

If James (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
