The Stables sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms in this lovely cottage about 200m from Kinblethmont House and has family bathroom with shower bath and a separate WC downstairs . It is perfect for small families or as a romantic getaway for couples. It is in the heart of Kinblethmont estate with its woodland walks, beautiful walled garden recreation and play area and abundant wildlife. Beaches, golf courses, historic sights and visitor attractions are all a short drive away.

The cottage has been finished to a very high standard, from the solid oak staircase to the polished granite work surfaces in the kitchen.The main features of the Stables are the open plan living area with views into Kinblethmont woodlands, spacious comfortable bedrooms with picture windows and original artworks from Kinblethmont Gallery. Kinblethmont house holds the occasional art exhibition a in the gallery and entry is free, so well worth a visit if your stay coincides.

The Stables is heated with underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs - all fuelled by woodchips from the Kinblethmont estate and there is a log burning stove in the living area. The property has free Wifi and Sky TV for when you want to chill out indoors or why not make use of the.outside seating area and bbq in the better weather.

The Stables has its own parking and private garden areas. The cottage is attached to 'Kinblethmont Coach House' which has its own entrance and parking at the opposite end of the building . The two properties can be joined for bigger groups of 12/14

I am so glad that these guests enjoyed their stay and took advantage of our local restaurants. We don't have a sunshade in the garden but there is some lovely shade beneath the mature trees in the garden - we will look into making an alternative eating out area there.

I'm so glad these guests enjoyed their stay at the Stables. It looks like we may need to update our signage as we wouldn't want anyone to miss out on the walled garden which is great! Its lovely to see the beautiful Angus countryside with its hills and sandy beaches appreciated - it really is a hidden gem.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jessica (the owner) a message.

If Jessica (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
