Clisham Cottage is situated surrounded by the North Harris hills and overlooks West Loch Tarbert, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The highest peak in the Western Isles, the "Clisham" can be seen from the cottage.

Clisham Cottage is centrally located for touring Lewis and Harris. The beaches are a 15 minutes drive away. The stunning sea shore and walking tracks in the village are often enjoyed by guests. The village shop and petrol pumps are located near the cottage.

Clisham Cottage is pet friendly as well as being suitable for young children where age appropriate toys and baby equipment can be provided. There are farm animals around the village that children may enjoy.

Oh dear. I think our wires have got completely crossed. Your booking for Clisham Cottage was always secure. We however have a newer property (not yet advertised) which we were willing to let you upgrade to. This is a significantly superior property. The reason I couldn't send pictures was because I didn't have your email address. This booking app would not allow the transfer of photos and the only way I could send pictures was once your email address was released - after full payment in April 2024. The offer of an upgrade appears to have confused matters - I'm sorry you felt it necessary to cancel.

Why can't I call Donalda (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Donalda (the owner) a message.

If Donalda (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
