An apartment complex a cut above the rest. Solario de Sao Jose is set in a prime position and the place to be if you want your holiday base to be full of optional amenities amongst a quiet stylish and friendly atmosphere. It has a large refreshing swimming pool alongside a separate kids pool.

The T2+1 self catering apartment is fully air conditioned and heated, making it ideal for year-round self-catering holiday rentals. A wonderful apartment for a romantic holiday or for young families.

Apartment is furnished to a high standard with all mod cons, WIFI is complimentary, fully fitted kitchen, TV, dvd player, Jacuzzi bath, hair dryer, security features and safe.

Our apartment has 3 bedrooms. Main bedroom has a 5ft double bed, a twin bedroom and a small 3rd bedroom with a single bed for a 5th guest. Our apartment does not have 'z' beds / couch beds in the living space. I also have a cot for a baby if required which I do not charge for.

There is also a roof top terrace with bbq. The long balcony off the master bedroom and living room, which is directly opposite the pools, is perfect for enjoying an evening sundowner.

The complex is safe and secure with many leisure facilities, making it ideal for families with young children or teenagers, or for a romantic holiday. DVDs, books, games and childrens TV channels pop, tiny pop and kix will keep the children entertained.

Our 3rd small bedroom is available at a small charge of €40 for a 5th guest. We do not have z beds or couch beds in our apartment.

The complex has a gated secure coded entrance system and is totally pushchair and wheel chair friendly.

What makes Solario different is that it holds a relatively small amount of apartments in contrast to the luxury that it offers. This property is centrally located in Albufeira in a quiet area but within easy walking distance of stunning sandy rustic beaches, local or international cuisine, bars and shops and the other local amenities of Albufeira. Sit back, relax, whether you are young, old, a couple or family you will be pleased to know this property has everything you could wish for.

Depending on arriving / departing of guests, I will endeavour to have our apartment ready on your arrival at Solario if you arrive before 4pm. Our check out time is 10am. This is to allow our cleaners prepare our apartment for our incoming guests. If you require a late checkout, it is probably best for your own comfort to book an extra day.

Why can't I call Shirley (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Shirley (the owner) a message.

If Shirley (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
