It is called Villa Mandorlo and the name comes from the big and colorful almond tree (Mandorlo, in Italian) that surrounds the house. In springtime, when this same almond tree blooms, it is also visible from the city of Arezzo. Thanks to its strong scent and guests love to spend their time watching the vibrant petals dance in the wind.

Here at Podere di Pomaio/Pomaio • Green Winery every renovation is compliant with the environmental friendly philosophy. This villa has been recently renovated following the highest of quality standards in terms of design as was used for the Leopoldina mansion.

The particular private pool is accessible only from the villa’s loggia or the elegant glass doors both located on the ground floor. Once reached you will notice the Mediterranean vegetation surrounding it.

The villa features two double bedrooms located on the ground floor and three double bedrooms on the upper floor. All bedrooms have their private access to the bathroom. This building has been renovated following the example of the Leopoldina building. This villa has a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen located under the old loggia at the ground floor. Through the glass doors it is possible to observe the breathtaking panorama of the valley, the hills, and the city of Arezzo. It will seem like you can touch it with you own hand.

Thanks to the location of the pool, not far from the living room and the kitchen, it is possible for our guests to enjoy the nature surrounding the villa while having a peaceful poolside dinner.

Villa Mandorlo is inside our organic high quality wine company, that has been also selected and included in the 14 Tuscany's most beautiful wineries (15.000 handy-crafted sustainable and organic bottles per year). The surrounding is a unique piece of land over 23 fenced hectares where you can relax, walk and have great experiences like Wine Taste and Tour or Cooking Classes. We are on a sunny hill so we have an uphill road to rich the Villa from the town. We can organize dinners and events here at the winery. We have a beautiful tasting room with a garden and terrace with the view on the valley and the town of Arezzo. The etruscan town of Arezzo, one of the major cities in Tuscany well known for fashion, gold handcrafters, wine and of course art, the movie Life is Beautiful was shouted in this city and Cortona (that is actually in the province of Arezzo) it is only 10 minute drive far from the villa.
