A two-bedroom cottage set on the outskirts of Armathwaite in Cumbria, sleeping up to four people.Mousehole Cottage is bursting with character, based near the village of Armathwaite, in Cumbria. It has two bedrooms made up of a double room and a twin, there is also a family shower room and a cloakroom, the property can sleep four people. Also inside you will find an open-plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. To the outside of the cottage there is off road parking and an enclosed lawn garden with a patio area with furniture. Mousehole Cottage offers dog-friendly accommodation in a wonderful part of Cumbria.

Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Stairgate available. Ample off-road parking. Enclosed lawn and patio with furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome but are not allowed upstairs. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Note: Sloping ceilings in bedrooms. No stag/hen or similar parties allowed. Family orientated site. Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Town: The village of Armathwaite is placed for exploring the Lake District, Eden Valley and the Solway Firth. The village has two pubs with restaurants, a Post Office and a shop. The River Eden runs through the village. The area is known for fishing, walking, canoeing and climbing. Armathwaite Castle is a four-storey Pele Tower, and the 15th century church has stained glass windows. The Eden Gorge, between Lazonby and Armathwaite is worth exploring. The railway station is a stop on the Settle-to-Carlisle Railway, a beautiful journey. The Rheged Discovery Centre in Penrith is the "largest grass covered building in the country" or you might like to visit Dalemain Historic House, featured in a television production of Jane Eyre.
