Recently Refurbished, Morelaggan House is a traditional stone built cottage with a modern twist. It is situated in secluded mature gardens on the shores of Loch Long near Arrochar. The house has stunning views of Loch Long from all the public rooms and bedrooms. Within easy reach of Glasgow, it is a cosy, charming base for families, couples or friends who want to explore the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and beyond. Weekly lets and short breaks are available.

This self catering accommodation sleeps up to 9 adults, 1 toddler and cots are available. The house has a large, fully equipped kitchen/dining room with AGA. The Sitting room has a wood burning stove, a baby grand piano, two large leather sofas and one leather armchair. Movie enthusiasts will enjoy the 3D projector, cinema screen and surround sound with a choice of over 300 Blue Ray DVD’s. There is free WIFI throughout.

The gardens are great to explore and are well equipped for both adults and kids, with a BBQ, garden furniture, trampoline, badminton net and racquets, sandpit/mini boules, swings and toys. There is a terrific walk from the house into Arrochar which offers amazing views out over Loch Long. Pets are welcome with prior arrangement.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Linda (the owner) a message.

    If Linda (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
