If you are looking to visit the Asheville, North Carolina area and want to rent accommodations that capture the best of both worlds: a quiet Nature & Healing Retreat yet only a hop-skip-and-a-jump to enchanting downtown Asheville -- Compassionate Expressions Mountain Inn & Healing Sanctuary has this to offer and much more. Only 30-minutes northwest of Asheville, located in the still largely secluded mountains of Leicester - you will marvel at the quaint historical farmlands of corn and cattle - where at night you can see a full array of brilliantly lit stars!

With undeniably one of the most inspiring mountain views around Asheville, Compassionate Expressions offers a respectively private & "unplugged" low stimulus atmosphere (no internet, Wifi or TV) cradled in the middle of Mother Nature's palm. (We think Mother Nature is the best entertainment!) Don't take our word for it, even the local natives tell us, "You're nestled in the prettiest cove in the area."

We call our retreat property Compassionate Expressions Mountain Inn & Healing Sanctuary because along with our mountain lodging, we offer professional quality in-house healing/spa services (for an extra fee): Therapeutic or Swedish Massage, Intuitive Reiki/Brennan/ Energy Healing, Past Life Regression and Guided Meditation. We also rent by appointment, two different Outdoor Whirlpool Hot Tubs by the creek as well as an Indoor Infrared Sauna. Our quality healing practitioners are committed to giving you personal attention around your health and well-being needs. Our goal is to send you home feeling inspired, renewed and relaxed!

Enjoy 40 private acres with natural wildlife, pastureland, forest, mountain ridge, running creek and wild medicinal foliage. Our drinking water and outdoor Whirlpool Hot Tubs are sourced by natural spring fed well water with a healing unstructured Ph-level of 7.8 - better than any purified bottle water!

We have outdoor patio sitting areas, a covered pavilion, Meditation Island, a community fire pit and charcoal BBQ stoves as well. Exploring the grounds is encouraged with some short hiking trails available. We also have a mini-farm with goats, organic laying hens and a pot bellied pig!.

We also rent our property for workshops, reunions, spiritual self-growth events and gatherings of the heart. Please inquire about our events rental prices.

Our check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and checkout is 11:00 a.m.

Why can't I call Reva/Sarah (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Reva/Sarah (the owner) a message.

If Reva/Sarah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
