Cutest Cottage in Asheville! Just a five-minute walk from downtown, this beautifully renovated cottage is nestled next to a grove of trees and is handily close to a local café for that morning cup. The cozy bungalow in Asheville’s most charming and historic neighborhood is ideal for a romantic getaway, a writing retreat, or a family vacation.

Along with a queen-size bed, Corner Cottage boasts granite countertops, a library with desk and easy chair, WiFi, walk-in closet, and a bathroom with bidet and open shower. The living room is bright and sunny, with a fireplace for chilly mountain nights. The fully enclosed backyard with a deck and grill affords a private and spacious outdoor environment for you and your pets to enjoy, and the rocker on the sunny front porch is the perfect place to catch up on your reading.

The cottage, located on a quiet street with a private driveway that has room for two cars, is decorated with Oriental carpets from the owner’s travels in the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia as well original artwork. It was completely refurbished in 2014. The comfortable and light-filled living room includes a spacious sofa, an electronic fireplace, and a hidden Smart TV connected to the Internet that allows you access to Netflix and Amazon. The open-plan kitchen includes seating for up to eight, a breakfast bar, and a built-in wine rack.

Stay in and cook fresh vegetables and meats from the nearby farmer’s market. If you like good coffee and fresh-baked pastries for breakfast, they are steps away at a small locally owned bistro. Take a city tour from the Asheville Visitor Center just down the street, or choose from dozens of restaurants, bars, theaters, and galleries a short walk away.

You can also venture to Biltmore House, the Grove Park Inn, or the Blue Ridge Parkway, all located within a 10-minute drive. Ziplines, hiking trails, canoeing, and white-water rafting are within easy reach. But you may find Corner Cottage hard to leave!

Why can't I call Andrew (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Andrew (the owner) a message.

If Andrew (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
