Description

The house is located in a private hamlet in the heart of Burgundy and has been just renovated to a high standard.

Set in a beautiful natural environment, "The Little Charm" gives you a chance to rest and relax: private garden, park, pond and a covered swimming pool are at your disposal for the pleasure of both adults and chidren. The cover allows you to swim indoors even if the weather is chilly outside. In the summer, the temperature of the water can reach 32°.

An outside hot tub with a wooden stove is at your disposal for a price of 20€ for 4 people. Lovely to use it when the weather is chilly.

Beautiful views on the Auxois hills.

For those star gazers, "Tle Little Charm" offers a wonderful opportunity to view the stars with its advantage of no light pollution.

Close to the Morvan Park with numerous lakes, you can enjoy real nature: walking, cycling, climbing, canoeing, fishing, riding...

The owners of "The Little Charm"are an anglo-french couple, speaking English, French and Russian, living at the front of the property. They will be only too pleased to help and assist in your needs or requirements about the area.

Many historical places are within a short distance: from beautiful medieval Semur en Auxois, Flavigny to Vezelay, Fontenay Abbaye (world UNESCO heritage site), Alesia museum, Beaune with its famous vinyards and caves, many castles and Dijon, capital of Burgundy.

There are many good restaurants within short distance, among which gastronomic ones such as Bernard Loiseau in Saulieu, Marc Meneau in Saint-Père (Vezelay), Lameloise in Chagny, Le Chassagne in Chassagne-Montrachet and Stephane Derbord in Dijon to name a few.

For golfers, several courses are within half an hour distance (Vic sur Thil, Chailly sur Armançon).

Amenities such as supermarket, baker, pharmacy are within 4 kilometers. Famous Epoisses cheese can be purchased directly from the producer (4 kms)

For your pleasure, fresh baguette and croissants can be delivered on demand every morning to you.

Very nice place, lots to see and do in the area, wonderful for the kids, the house is lovely with the pool, pond and large gardens at our disposal, David and Claude were brilliant hosts letting us know were best to go for the best things to do would highly recommend this place its brilliant!

“Perfect hidden gem”

We stayed there in September 2016 with our dog. The villa is very comfy, well equipped and peaceful. The owners are great too, they are dog lovers so it's even better. The pool and hot tub is a great ideal but we did not use it due to it being September but the place is all done to a very good standard. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If David (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
