Welcome to Bacacay! Our home is located at the heart of the town famous for its pristine, black-sand beaches, about 5 to 10 minutes ride from them. 2 big airconditioned rooms, and open concept dining/living room. Spacious porch overlooking a breezy lawn and garden. If meal preparation is required, basic kitchen amenities are available and we provide purified water throughout your stay. Good WiFi signal in the entire place. Cable TV. Perimeter fence. Parking space for up to 4 vehicles.
As me and my family are based abroad, my uncle and a house caretaker are ready to assist you with most of your needs. The caretaker lives just across the fence. My uncle resides in a room by the balcony, and aside from keeping watch of the property, can provide information about getting around the town and activities such as island hopping, Mayon ATV tours, and other attractions.
acacay town center through the years has remained a slow-paced, beautiful, and quiet community. Townsfolk are friendly and speak English, Filipino, and the local Bicol dialect. From the house, the market and grocery stores are minutes away by foot. As well, only a few blocks away, is a 300-year old church building of Spanish architecture which the Bacacayanos take much pride in.
Colloquially dubbed as the “summer and beach capital” of Albay, the town draws a lot of visitors because of its pristine beaches that are very accessible by land or sea transportation.
You can get around the town by means of padyaks(pedicabs) and tricycles. The towncenter is a fairly small area easily explored by foot. Daily public utility vans make transfers to and from Legazpi City, while jeepneys do so to and from Tabaco City. Legazpi airport is about 30-to 45 minutes drive from our place.
