Beautiful and intimate rooftop apartment with a huge terrace overlooking Jerusalem's skyline. The house is a renovated typical old style Jerusalem building. It is in a walking distance to the old city, cafes, shops, and the city's attractions.
The space is a tastefully furnished 80 square meters apartment with additional 80 square meters beautiful rooftop terrace garden filled with plants and greens, designed for guests to lounge and relax. There is also another picturesque balcony overlooking Jerusalem's skyline. There are two well-lit, cozy and spacious double bedrooms, one of which is a master en-suite bedroom. The entire place is very pleasant, well-lit and has great breezes in all the rooms.
The entire space is available for guests to use at their leisure. There is a spacious fully equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, stove, dish-washer stocked with the basics (oil, salt, sugar, coffee, tea etc.), which guests are welcome to use. The living room is comfortable, cozy and has cable-tv. There is also a very speedy wifi connection all around the house. Apart from the two double-bedrooms which sleep 4 people, there are two additional single folding beds to sleep 2 additional guests. The terrace is pleasantly shaded and has different herbal plants to be used for cooking and herbal infusions. There is also a powerful air-conditioning system in the living room that cools most of the apartment (except one of the bedrooms). We have strong and efficient fans in every part of the house. There is free parking in the street.
Please note that being a roof-terrace garden apartment, the apartment is situated in the third floor, and unfortunately has no elevator.
The house has great energies. We always keep it clean and tidy and invest a lot in order to make it a perfect little haven of calm and serenity. We would encourage guests to maintain and contribute to the good vibes in the house. Also, you're welcome to smoke on the relaxing roof-terrace, but we have to insist on a non-smoking policy inside the house. This is a quiet building shared by only 4 apartments so we'll appreciate keeping quiet after 10 pm.
Our place is situated between the German Colony and Bak'a. It is a quiet street very close (literally 5 minuets walk) to the heart of the neighborhood and its shops, coffee-shops, restaurants, supermarkets, vegetable and fruit shops, bakery, organic shops and pharmacy. It is also 7 minutes walk to the trendy old-train station compound (with its restaurants, cafes and bars) which is open 7 days a week. It is in a walking distance to Jerusalem's main tourist attractions such as the old city, Emek R'efaim st., Yemin Moshe colony, the cinematheque, Khan theater, Jerusalem's main theater, King David st., Jerusalem's swimming pool etc.
There are many public buses along Emek-Refaim st. and around our street and its very easy to hail a taxi in Jerusalem from the road. For guests arriving with a rental car there is plenty of free parking in the street.
The apartment is comfortably situated for getting around the city quickly by either car or bus to Mahne Yehuda's main market, the city center, the Israel Museum, and other main locations in Jerusalem.
