Forestside Cottage is set within the private grounds of "Forestside House" (sleeps 16 available to book with Forestside Cottage).

It is a modern Cottage comprising of an open plan lounge/dining/family area with an excellent range of fitted units and applicances, hallway, and downstairs bathroom with a shower. Upstairs has 2 double bedrooms and toilet (wash hand basin & WC).

Outside is a double entrance to the driveway for parking and well maintained gardens. A private patio lies behind the property.

Hand towels provided and bath towels can be provided if guests do not wish to bring their own - please let us know.

Heating and electric is metred and charged separately.

Please note that the Wi-Fi in this rural area can be intermittent and is not super fast fibre.

2 and a half miles to Ballycastle town makes this Cottage handy to the attractions along the North Coast, making it a perfect location for visiting some of the many Game of Thrones film sets, North West 200, and Golf clubs.

Guests usaully self check-in using the information we provide in the guest information booklet. Our house manager can be on site in a reasonable time if you require assistance.

We cater for guests from near and far, offering a lockable facility for bicycles and motorbikes.

Northern Ireland tourist board registered.

Why can't I call Lisa and Adam (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lisa and Adam (the owner) a message.

If Lisa and Adam (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
