Renovation finished just in time for Easter 2024. The new floor to ceiling triple glazing is just incredible offering almost unbelievable views of the castle. Our website will be updated with new photos on Saturday 6 April to match those here.

The outdoor space has also been significantly upgraded by award winning landscape architects John Davies Landscape. Corten steel planters, natural stone, mature trees and plants.

Bamburgh Barn is located in the heart of Bamburgh and has full views of Bamburgh Castle from it's front terrace and all principal rooms. Set just behind Front Street, this relaxing haven rests a stone's throw from the hubbub of village life but in a peaceful, quiet, secure setting. With Castle Green a 60-second walk away, and the award winning Bamburgh Castle and Beach just a few moments more, Bamburgh Barn is the starting place for great adventures!

Accommodating up to 6 guests, its 3-zone open plan living space, 3 en-suite bedrooms (1 x king, 2 x twin rooms) and outdoor space facing the Castle provide all the space needed to enjoy your stay. This Grade II listed home features gated, off road parking for 3 cars in the middle of the village and is well kitted out with everything you could need (nespresso machine, wine fridge, wifi etc!) Please note that there is one step down into the king bedroom.

★ Unless otherwise stated, we can only accept bookings starting on a Friday (for 3 nights), Monday (for 4 nights) or Friday or Monday (for 7 nights). For June, July, August we can only accept bookings starting and finishing on a Friday in multiples of 7 days ★

Fabulous place .Disappointed with showers no brackets to hold the hand set which made showering awkward also no shelving to put shampoo etc on so everything in put on the floor my gripe would be with … More

As we undertake a major upgrade of the glazing in the living space (floor to ceiling triple glazed units) and castle facing bedrooms, we will also sort a few of the little annoying things that you mention. Hi there - thanks so much for taking the time to review the Barn. We are glad you enjoyed your time. We were sorry to hear about the washing machine and you will be glad to know that a new machine was installed the Monday morning after your stay and the new guests reported all is good and well on that front. The wifi is normally strong, we have BT fibre so we will check with them if there are any local issues. The decking will indeed be replaced as a part of a broader renovation in January 2024. This follows the updating/rejuvenation of all bedroom areas this Spring. Thanks again for choosing us and look forward to hearing from you again soon!
