Gull Cottage sits at the foot of Bamburgh Castle and has one bedroom and a sofa bed so comfortably sleeps up to 4 people.

At the rear of the cottage is a gate that leads to the Castle and village green (if you like cricket or croquet you're in luck!) and from there a 2 minute walk to the most stunning beach, perfect for family/we and me time - one to tick off the bucket list! Take your BBQ, take your beach gear and while away the hours - beyond beautiful.

The pubs, shops and restaurants are again a two minute walk from the cottage and all do amazing food.

Seahouses is a busier village and is a five minute drive away where you can get a boat trip to the Farne Islands home of the famous Grace Darling.

Sit and eat fish and chips and have an ice cream at the lovely harbour. Crazy Golf is a must! Bamburgh to Seahouses is about a 50 minute walk and takes in the stunning Northumbrian Coastline.

The area is steeped in history, too much to mention from our wild and rugged hills to our beautiful coastline, we do castles and we do them well and of course the Alnwick Garden, well worth a trip.

Gull Cottage is perfectly situated for a relaxing and fun week - don't take our word for it...... come and see for yourselves.

There is a private parking space clearly marked with number 14 at the rear of the cottage. Everything you need to know is on display on the noticeboard in the kitchen. We are always at the end of the phone for any questions but leave you alone to have a relaxing holiday. Winter month is low season except for Christmas and new year.

Lovely cottage, ideal location for Bamburgh and Seahouses. Minor inconvenience parking due to other selfish guests. Would go back.

Why can't I call Pippa (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Pippa (the owner) a message.

If Pippa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
