From the owner

Villa Tak Kae is our home in Thailand, set in a lush tropical walled-garden with exotic tropical plants and a step-over lotus pool. Here you can enjoy our large, private swimming pool (11m x 4m) in complete seclusion and it's only a 10-15 minute walk to Bang Tao beach.

In the villa are 3 large bedrooms, all beautifully furnished in a modern Thai style. The master bedroom has great views out to the sunny garden and pool. Its ensuite bathroom is equipped with double sinks, a luxury double-size jacuzzi bath and a walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 is accessed from the main corridor in the property and its ensuite bathroom has double sinks, a sunken bath and walk-in shower. It can also be accessed from the main corridor of the property. Bedroom 3 is accessed from the main corridor in the property and has a smaller ensuite bathroom with sink unit and walk-in shower. There is a small foldaway bed available (suitable for a child) and a cot, if required.

The large open plan living area features a large, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, lounge and dining area, and a small laundry room. With large glass doors sliding back into the wall, you can experience a fabulous open aspect to both the pool and decked area. A perfect spot to enjoy meals, or a cool drink, overlooking the pool and relaxing water feature!

On the upper level you can find a large roof terrace with a gas BBQ and casual seating. The Thai style sala provides shade from the sun, and with open views over the fields it is a perfect area for outdoor entertaining. The surround sound system with speakers inside, outside by the pool and in the sala helps to create the perfect ambience for a relaxing holiday.

Why can't I call Julia (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Julia (the owner) a message.

If Julia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
