Situated in an Estate Comprising of 16 hectares of land, with wonderful views at every turn, this property is a perfect rural retreat yet a 5 minute drive or so from the medieval town of Barga, with its cobbled streets, duomos, and ancient architecture.
Barga is well known for its good quality but reasonably priced restaurants, and often outdoor concerts (mainly classical and jazz) are performed in the evenings, along with firework displays.
There is also a station for stress free exploring.
Closer to home and within easy walking distance is the village of Albian with its good restaurant and shop. Barga itself is about 1 hr from Pisa, 90 mins from Florence, 45 minutes from the medieval walled town of Lucca and close to the National Parks of the Apuan Alps.
