Situated in the hill, in the nice and friendly village of Barni, 10 minutes’ drive from Bellagio, in the heart of Vallassina, suspended between lake and mountains, big and historical villa with garden and swimming pool (available only during summer time), with 8 bedrooms for a total of 24 sleeps, with the possibility to add cots and cribs. Living room with large sofa, kitchen and dining room, 4 bathrooms with hydromassage shower, laundry, big garden, relax area, balcony, BBQ, wide private parking and public parking for pullman. If you are looking for a large house to hire to spend holidays together with a group of friends, “Lake Como country house” is the right place. Perfect location for a family getaway, holidays with friends, corporate event or team building.

The villa offers the perfect accommodation for family celebrations or weddings or group getaways with friends. For an unforgettable holiday, come at Lake of Como! Our villa is ideal for those looking for activity holidays and with many boasting appealing features such as great walking and trekking routes.

At your arrival, you will find the house cleaned and perfumed, the beds made up and a set of fresh towels for each guest.

THE HISTORY OF THE VILLA. The villa, dating back to the early '900, with floors and parquet of that period, has undergone conservative restoration while preserving the original doors and fixtures. Furnished with antique furniture restored and renovated in modern style, it is spread over two levels for nearly 300 square meters with its large private garden.

All major families of Milan, in the early years of 900, had built their houses of holidays in the hill of Como Lake, and not by the lake, for the climate milder and less hot. In these places, they loved to spend all the summer months in order to escape the warmth of the city and enjoy the cool and the beauty of these wonderful places, ideal for those who love to dive into nature and to divide between relaxing, bathing at the lake and hiking in the hills or in the mountains. For this reason, a train station (active since 1922) is located at 5 minutes drive from Barni, at Asso / Canzo that in approx 1 hour connect the area to Milano Cadorna.

Please note!

HEATING: in the cold season (autumn / winter ) and when it is necessary, the heating is charged separately and should be settled by cash at the check out. You will pay only what you will use (Eur 1 per cubic meter) . Generally speaking, as we are in the hill, we turn off the heating in May and turn on it in September.

LATE CHECK IN: for late check-in, we apply an extra fee: €50 from 9 pm to midnight. €100 from midnight. The late check in extra fee must be settled by cash at arrival.

How do damage deposits work?

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Elisabetta (the owner) a message.

If Elisabetta (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
