This beautiful luxury Penthouse is situated in one of Barra's best locations on the quiet corner end of the canal that is nearest to the village. It is a close walk or bike ride (provided to guests) to town or a water taxi will pick you up at your own dock. Surrounded by water on two of four sides, it is close enough to walk to everything but far enough away that you will not hear the noise from town or the buses. This property always has a tropical breeze off the water and you can watch fish boats go by or even buy fish. This private. Penthouse It is separated by the palapa and stands alone and can sleep up to 5 people. The master suite looks over the dining area when the shutters are opened and on to the water and comes with a 42 inch flat screen tv and private bathroom. The guest bedroom looks over the pool and canal. Ask about adding another bedroom and bathroom to sleep 2 people more Nov through May.

The Penthouse has a gourmet kitchen, built in BBQ, big dining area, king sofa bed and views every where, perfect for entertaining.

It has one of the best views in Barra with comfortable lounge chairs surrounding the pool, hammocks and palapa for shade. The outdoor kitchen is great for entertaining and comes with a stove fridge and bbq as well as a bathroom next to it. We will have snacks and beverages awaiting your arrival (Dec through April. 1st)

Please note, managers are available on site to help need 24 hours 12 months a year and will be there to greet you with beverages and snacks upon arrival your arrival November through April 30th. Our place is a licensed business. When booking a rental it is important to find out if the place you rented is licensed. If it is not and the owners rent without a license and do not pay taxes, authorities are notified you may be told to leave. Always ask.

With concerns regarding Covid 19 we are doing everything we can to ensure you have a safe relaxing stay and have taken measures to protect our guest, staff and ourselves.

We have hand sanitizer in guest accommodation and key areas and Physical distancing measures, contactless check-in/check-out as well as Guest accommodation sealed after cleaning. We use cleaning chemicals that are effective against Covid and Guest accommodation is disinfected between stays.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Barbara (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
