The apartment is set within landscaped grounds with a wide range of communal facilities - swimming pools, gymnasium, tennis / squash court, complimentary Wi-FI, designated reading areas and children's playground.
We know Penang well as it is our home away from home, so benefit from our intimate knowledge of the island to make your stay enjoyable, memorable and unique.

Swimming pools: the main swimming area is within a few minutes walk from the apartment. The main pool is of a good size for keen swimmers to do their daily laps. There is also a shallow pool for toddlers. Older and more adventurous children will have fun using the curved slide pool. There are deck chairs all around the swimming area for you enjoy the sun. There is also a quiet and secluded pool next to the apartment that is underused and gets the sun before midday.
Gym: this is well maintained and airy, located in the swimming area, the gym offers the usual equipment such as bikes and running machines, weights-bars-dumbbells, multi-gym set.
Children play area: located within the main swimming area, there is a children climbing frame with slides on safe flooring material.
Free WiFi in the apartment: bring your laptop and IPADs and stay connected. Wi-Fi is also available in designated areas of the condominiums including the main swimming area.

“Perfect - a lovely apartment, home from home”
Most comfortable, very well equipped and furnished with all you'd need and more. Perfect with young children, they loved the pools and all the games in the apartment. All the information was clear and informative, great to have wi-fi. Irene was very helpful and called us during our stay to make sure we were ok. Nearby Batu Ferringhi was great for places to eat, mini markets and the beach. We loved a trip to 'Escape' for a Go-Ape style day of swinging on ropes, zip wires and canopy walkways. Also had a trek through the jungle at the national park to Turtle Beach where we saw baby turtles at a sanctuary, from there a boat collected us and took us to Monkey Beach for swimming. We'd thoroughly recommend staying at Miami Green and would love to go back :)
“relaxed holiday home”
Everything is fine except that guests who stay for less than one month cannot use the gym. This should have mentioned in the contract.
We had the most amazing time at Miami Green. I had read an extensive review on this apartment, and it was everything we had hoped for. The apartment was equipped with anything and everything you could want for a month or more long stay. The bus at the bottom of the road was regular and air conditioned, the taxi drivers are friendly and inexpensive, the pool was amazing, and we made some lovely friends by the pool as well. Best holiday for a relaxing, chilling out time.

We have been visiting the wonderful island of penang since 1996,stayed at numerous hotels but this apartment beats them all hands down. From the very first day when we were shown around by Irene to the very last day we enjoyed every minute of our holiday stay in this wonderful apartment. It certainly is home from home.There is everything you need to enjoy and relax. The complex grounds are beautiful and our maintained to a high standard. The security is second to none and so friendly towards ourselves and the children.Penang is such a wonderful place to visit and staying at this apartment makes it even more wonderful. We would like to thank Gaynor and her family for letting us share there beautiful family holiday home.We are now looking forward to returning to the wonderful island of penang and we will be staying at this wonderful apartment again.
“Miami Green in Batu Ferringhi is a fabulous condo complex”
Our first trip to Malaysia was perfect. Miami Green is a great condo complex for couples and or families. Our unit was outfitted with all the comforts of home, the view of Miami Green Beach from the 23rd flr is spectacular. The pool complex is a great area to relax, the was a great place for regular work outs and there is a nice common room to play ping pong or check on emails, however our unit had an excellent wireless connection. The in house phone and TV cable offered some good English programs to keep us up to date during our 2 month stay. The covered parking garage is great. The small onsite store carries a good supply of conveniences. Taxi's and buses are available at the bottom of the hill, but a car was definitely good for us. Security is excellent and our 2 month stay was wonderful. Thanks to the owners for all the extras not always available in rental units!
“Travelling the world, this has been our favourite place hands down!”
The most amazing accommodation in Penang. The complex is popular amongst expats so lots of new friends. It’s a luxurious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with sea views out the lounge room window and jungle views out the kitchen window. The kitchen is huge and has an oven! It’s hard to describe this place and all I can say is it immediately felt like home. There are toys and plastic plates and cups. There are numerous pools, a gym, a playground, top security and a great location, halfway between the lovely tourist beach town Batu Ferringhi and the fabulous 8am – 1am opened, Tesco. We did need a car, because we have small kids, but this was not an issue for us. A short walk to the beach at the bottom of the road. We want to come back and stay again. If we are ever in Penang again we will. I highly recommend this place. The Owner is accommodating and very lovely. You can read more details on our blog and see more pictures.
“Home from Home”
A pleasantly furnished apartment on the 23rd Floor, benefitting from both offshore and onshore breezes; with excellent views over the Miami Beach bay and surrounds. Apartment is extremely well equipped. The Miami Green complex is a residential complex with excellent facilities such as Pool, Tennis and Squash Courts, Sauna and Gymnasium. The pool area is nicely landscaped and benefits from cooling breezes and never feels crowded. The whole complex is well maintained with good levels of security. Undercover parking is available. Only a few minutes walk away from bus stops and short journey times to Batu Ferringhi and Georgetwon, and the local facilities on Miami Beach - including a bar/cafe excellent for informal drinks and food. Gurney Drive and Gurney Plaza Mall about 20 mins away by bus,car or taxi.Large Tesco's about 10 mins. Note - Miami Green Condiminiums is a Residential Complex, so there are expectations in respect of behaviour around the complex and in particular the Pool area. - unlike many Hotels.
“Great for Families”
The apartment (condo) was as shown in the photos and we were greeted by a Family Member (Irene) to show us through of where things were. Irene very kindly also pre-stocked the fridge with a few essentials which was really helpful as we arrived after a very late flight. The location, we found to be fantastic. We got Rapid Penang Bus Passes (RM30 for a week of unlimited travel) and the bus stop was a few minutes walk down the hill from the Apartment. Being slightly away from "the strip" of Batu Ferringhi suited us perfectly. It was really quiet and since the Apartment was fully equipped, made it a very relaxing oasis away from the crowds/noise of the Strip. The pool is huge, although the permanent residents don't seem keen on the holidayers and there were some interesting pool "rules" such as No Splashing, no pool toys, no "bulky" floats etc. There is a Childrens Pool and another small pool with a Slide for the Children. The slide is quite fast (which my 10year old son loved) but a bit rough and although he used a blow-up pool ring to sit on as he went down to cushion his butt, he was told by the Security Guards at the pool that this was disallowed. Pool floats are also disallowed, even though you may well be the only person in the pool. Go figure. But the price for the Apartment was excellent and so the down-side of the Pool issues need to be put into perspective. There was a small pool at the bottom of C Block (This apartment is in C Block) but it didn't get sun all day so the water was a bit cooler. That said, there were no guards at this pool so you may be able to sneak a float and enjoy lazing there. We were busy checking out the Island and coming back to the Apartment was fantastic. A lovely little oasis. The beds were all lovely and the bed linens and towels of a good quality. The washer, iron, etc were all new and in good working order which made things very simple. The free wifi was also really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone thinking of heading to Penang, particularly if you have family. Thank you to Irene for all your help and to Gaynor for organising for us to stay at your place.
“Relaxing place with Great Views”
Nice three bedroom apartment with expansive ocean views. We had a great 2 weeks. It is a few Kms to Batu Ferringhi main beach but we descided not to hire a car and had no problems getting the bus, down the bottom of the hill, just remember to hold on tight it is "Rapid Transit" around the twists and turns. The complex has 2 pools & good gym. We like the small pool at the bottom of our building. Great night market shooping with cheap restrauants at Batu Ferringhi beach. Tescos is 15 mins on the bus towards GeorgeTown (we got a taxi back, with the shooping). Thanks Gaynor for a wonderful time.
“Fantastic location, brilliant view, great amenities”
This property is just the ticket for a relaxing holiday with all the amenities you would need and a fantastic view. We spent a lot of time around the pool which has lots of space with sunbeds and a huge pool. The little shop in the garage was handy for buying heavy bottles of drink. Mary's bar on the beach served great food. We will recommend the apartment to family and friends. Thanks Gaynor
