Situated on the edge of an extremely quiet village and with uninterrupted views of the Pic du Midi and the Pyrenees mountains Gite Trejeau is an independent, newly renovated, light, airy and extremely comfortable one bedroomed gite just for two. With its own private garden the Gite is completely separate from the main farmhouse which is across the large courtyard.

This spacious accommodation totals 75sqm and comprises of a downstairs open plan main room comprising of a modern fully fitted kitchen, dining and living space. French windows open out onto your own terrace and private garden. There is a woodburner for those cooler times and logs are provided free of charge. Upstairs the bedroom has a wonderfully comfortable king size bed with Egyptian cotton linen and magnificent views of the mountains. Oak beamed high ceiling with a stunning chandelier. There is also an ensuite fully fitted modern bathroom that includes an Italian walk in shower and a deep modern roll tap bath with views across the valley. Bath robes, slippers and hairdryer are available.

Your garden has a BBQ, gas Plancha and table and chairs for you to enjoy outside dining and sunloungers to enable you to relax in the peace and quiet of the countryside and enjoy the mountain views. As well as your own private garden you have full use of all the grounds at Trejeau along with exclusive use of the above ground 8m X 5m X 1.4m swimming pool.

A welcome pack will be provided on arrival and any extra shopping you require can be provided on request at cost.

Our rates include all bed linen, towels as well as beach towels for the pool, bath robes, slippers, tea towels, electricity, Wifi internet and the local Taxe de Séjour. Towels and linen are changed weekly for stays of 2 weeks or more. There are also two mountain bikes with safety helmets for you to use during your stay free of charge.

Please contact us if you would like a long weekend, mid-week break or an alternative start date, as we may be able to accommodate you.

We are in a perfect location for house hunting and exploring the area being in the Hautes Pyrenees and extremely close to the departments of the Gers and Haute Garonne and we are more than happy to share our experiences of both buying and renting property with you so that you can avoid some of the pitfalls that we experienced. We can also put you in contact with a number of estate agents in the area that we have personally used.

Our house is a traditional French farmhouse with many outbuildings and over 7 acres of land facing the Pyrenees on the edge of the village. Please note that we have one very friendly dog.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Janette (the owner) a message.

If Janette (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
