At the heart of Minho, next to the hill country of Peneda, Soajo and Gerês. in the village of Vila Cha in Eaves of Lima, Viana do Castelo district, magnificent house with 4 bedrooms, three of them en suite, pool, billiards room, large areas with garden, an original separate home kitchen with beautiful views of the valley Rio Lima.

It is a happy marriage between the old and the new, the result of an architectural intervention of great quality that fades into the landscape.

Because of its location at altitude (about 500 meters) and for being the beginning of the mountainous set of Geres, wildlife is magnificent, especially the horses that still abide by this area in a state of complete freedom.

In fact it is common, especially winter the Garranos their names. go down to the village and enter into gardens and pasture areas. Not too hard to find them, simply climb over a little mountain to the place of Armada, and there they are, imposing, in magnificent landscapes. As seen in photos.

You can also enjoy the swimming pool overlooking the valley of Lima, Sierra Yellow and Soajo integrated in that mountainous set of Geres with its famous Parque Natural da Peneda, and even Spain whose border city of Tuy in Galicia is 30 Km away .

The 8 km can visit the beautiful town of Ponte da Barca, the Ponte da Barca with its beautiful river beaches and the Serra do Soajo with the most beautiful granaries stone from all over the North of Portugal including Galicia in Spain.

In the medieval town of Ponte de Lima, the oldest town in Portugal c / around 2800 inhabitants and is located about 6 km you can enjoy an ancient cuisine as the famous rice sarrabulho and burned cream and even taste the wines famous in the region, particularly of Vinho Verde Loureiro, fresh and aromatic. Still in the village can canoe along the River Lima and bathe in its crystalline waters. You can also learn through crafts and local architecture as were the habits of a real village of the Middle Ages. You can also attend interesting events such as Horse Fair, the International Garden Festival and others.

At about 10 km, instead of Feitosa, you can enjoy a beautiful golf course for professionals or amateurs designed for two 9-hole courses each.

In the heart of the Valley of Lima, the Castiça and peculiar beauty of the oldest town in Portugal hides deep roots and ancestral legends.

It was the Queen Teresa who in the distant date of March 4, 1125, granted charter letter to the village, referring to it as Terra Bridge. Years later, already in the fourteenth century, Pedro I, given the geostrategic position of Ponte de Lima, told her wall, so the end result was that of a medieval village surrounded by walls and nine towers, of which remain two, several traces of remaining and the whole defensive structure then, is making access to the village through six doors.

The Garrano is a very old equine race, separated from the rest since the Quaternary period, which is part of a broader group known as the Iberian horse due to common characteristics and its origin1.

After the Garrano, itself, is the oldest among his own, among other races sisters North of the Iberian Peninsula and southwestern France, including the Galician Monte horse, the Asturcón of Asturias or the Biscaia2 Potok.
