Our penthouse apartment is situated in the excellent Hoyo 19 complex which is a modern build and very private with beautifully maintained gardens, 3 large swimming pools, its own enclosed playground for the children and even a small practice putting green.

The Hoyo 19 complex has its own 24 hour concierge and is part of the gated and secure Los Flamingos Golf Urbanization, overlooking the world class Los Flamingos golf course. It is just over a kilometre drive from the coast road, accessed from exit 166 of the A-7 highway. Los Flamingos is an exclusive and up-market residential estate and home to the 5* Hotel Villa Padierna Palace (where the First Lady of the USA and daughters holidayed in 2010!) with a spa and fine dining facilities

A superb location being just 10km from Puerto Banus and Marbella so close enough to visit the famous sites and enjoy the delights of the marina yet based in a tranquil and beautiful setting with the most stunning beaches at the bottom of the road. Estepona town centre is just 5 minutes away by car if you prefer a more relaxed day or evening out. You do not have to go far to dine out or to stock up on groceries and other essential items - approximately 2 minutes in the car (or a 20 minute walk downhill) you have shopping areas with every amenity such as a large Mercadona supermarket, supersol supermarket and many, many bars, cafes and restaurants. The local dining options are plentiful and varied to suit all tastes and budgets (for example you have a traditional steak house, indian, thai, Chinese, Italian, infusion modern, the list goes on...)

At Hoyo 19 you will enjoy the best of everything – chill out during the day, or superbly based to visit the sites and in the evenings you can party the night away, if the mood takes you. However and more importantly, you don't have to go out! Dine on your terrace, with gas barbecue available and watch the most stunning sun set, looking out with views along the coast and across to Morocco.

GOLF

An obvious focal point of staying at Hoyo 19 is the golf available, right on your doorstep. Los Flamingos is a world class course, which has been home to the European Seniors Match-Play Championships. You also have a dozen other world class courses to choose from, all within a radius of a 20 minute drive. Hoyo 19 is a golfer's paradise.

Everything in the apartment is brand new for 2014. It has been tastefully furnished in a minimalist style and kitted out professionally with luxury in mind; you cannot fail to be impressed.

The living area is bright and spacious with patio doors opening out on two sides to the huge wrap-around terrace. With a sumptuous chaise-sofa facing a flat screen TV installed with SONOS playbar to stream all of your music wirelessly and UK IPTV enabling you to watch the 5 main UK television channels and keep in touch with the national news at home. We also have unlimited broadband wifi, great for the children to entertain themselves on their gadgets, or for you to remain in contact with those important people back home. There is an impressive dining table which seats 6 (although you will more than likely dine outside on the AMAZING private terrace…).

We also have a mobile SONOS PLAY:3 speaker and also give you access to our Samsung Galaxy Tab to stream music and select radio and music channels from anyway in the world. (Please take care with this with little people about!)

The kitchen is newly fitted with white high gloss units with every appliance needed to enjoy your holiday. We have a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle and toaster.

We have 3 good size bedrooms. There is a double superking size bed in the master bedroom which also has an en suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath and its own television with Spanish television and coffee making facilities. Bedroom 2 has a double king size bed and in bedroom 3 we have twin single beds. All of the linen and towels are made with from luxury Egyptian cotton. We can accommodate up to 6 guests. Baby equipment can be provided on request (separate charge applies).

There is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. All bedrooms each have a hairdryer.

The apartment has air conditioning in all rooms which is connected to a timer - the timer ensures our guests are still able to use the air con without any restrictions whilst inside the property. Maximum time is 2 hours but can be re-set immediately once timer has expired.

PLEASE NOTE THE COSTA DEL SOL AREA LOST SATELLITE COVERAGE TO RECEIVE ALL BBC & ITV TELEVISION CHANNELS. HOWEVER OUR POPERTY HAS THE LATEST IPTV INSTALLED SO YOU CAN CONTINUTE TO WATCH THESE CHANNELS. NOT ALL HOLIDAY RENTAL PROPERTIES INCLUDE THIS!

The terrace to this property is AMAZING! It is huge (95m²) and wraps–around three sides of the property providing 360° views…. to the east looking to Marbella and La Concha mountain, views South to the sea and beyond to Morocco and the impressive Atlas mountains, west to the rock of Gibraltar and north to the mountains of Estepona – quite spectacular.

You can always have a place in the sun on this terrace with different chill out zones and eating areas!

We have sun beds and deck chairs to move where you want. An external shower to cool down. We have a small café table for breakfast dining for two.

Then we have the most amazing custom-made solid wood furniture, as follows:

• The day bed with mattresses which opens out to become a 3 piece suite consisting of large sofa and 2 big comfy chairs and centre table.

• tall bar table and stools, maybe to enjoy an aperitif before dinner and watch the sun begin to set….

• On the west side of the terrace we have a great bench dining table, partially covered during the morning and mid-afternoon for that much needed shade. However by late afternoon when the sun begins to fade and the temperature starts to cool you can dine in comfortable sunshine and wonder at the beautiful views as the sun goes down. Seating for 8.

We also have a gas barbeque to make the most of this special outdoor space. Then not forgetting the love seat in a private area outside of the master bedroom to hide away for some time out if needed…There is also a separate east facing terrace which you can lounge on with the deck chairs and this receives the morning sunshine.

HOYO 19 is part of LOS FLAMINGOS GOLF urbanisation and is situated equidistant between the fabulous Puerto Banus and the vibrant and traditional Spanish town of Estepona

PUERTO BANUS & MARBELLA (just 10km away)

Puerto Banus is a world famous marina and holiday hotspot attracting visitors all year round. A vibrant and busy leisure port, Puerto Banus is the perfect place for young and old to enjoy a sunny afternoon stroll or an amazing evening out. In the port, enjoy a drink at the legendary Sinatra's Bar, a pizza in the most sought after Italian restaurant Picassos, or a simple burger in Jacks. Puerto Banus is a designer shopper's paradise with fabulous boutiques and the high end legendary Spanish department store El Corte Ingles. During summer time and other holiday periods the Plaza Antonio Banderras is a great place to wander, hosting a craft fair with specialist goods and handicrafts on sale, and kids rides, play areas and street entertainers for the children.

Marbella town is just 5 minutes further down the coast by car (or even by bus). Marbella centre is the place to go if you want to taste some of the area's specialty tapas bars and bodegas, or visit the old town and Plaza de los Naranjos to soak up some traditional Spanish charm and atmosphere. You can even go for a tour of the town by horse and carriage, if the mood takes you!

ESTEPONA (just 10 km away)

Estepona has the most stunning beaches of the area. Along the Estepona coast, on which Los Flamingos is located, are lots of little coves with beautiful, sandy, clean beaches and chiringuiitos (beach bars) scattered every few hundred metres, and here you can sample some of the best and freshest caught fish and seafood where sardines cooked by barbeque and paella are the order of the day. The traditional and bustling Spanish town of Estepona is pretty and is worth a visit with small winding streets filled with lots of little shops, cafes and restaurants where the daily menu del dia is recommended.

Estepona also has a small leisure port where the bars and restaurants are always lively with a famous busy market every Sunday morning selling leather goods, ceramics and other traditional Spanish items.
