The swimming pool accessed through the garden area of the apartment building is one of the largest on the Costa del Sol and in addition to the main pool there is shallow children's pool, however, please note that the pool area is only open during the high season which is from Mid-June to Mid-September.
The 2 balconies have between them 2 tables and 4 chairs along with sun blinds, and in addition provide a vantage point to enjoy the views. Facing south-west they enjoy the sun between midday until the sun sets over the mountains and are not overlooked by high rise buildings.
This property is better suited to 2 people but there is a large comfortable sofa bed in the lounge area which will sleep 2 extra people, or allow separate bedrooms if required.
The closest supermarket – Lidl – is 60 meters away, there are 2 bars within 90 meters and within 400 meters the area is full of numerous bars and restaurants.
There is a wide beach Promenade which runs for about 5 miles the direction of Torremolinos and 2 miles in the direction of Benalmádena and from this there is easy access to numerous beaches, some of which may be comparatively quiet and others where in addition to rows of sun-loungers, sunshades and close by bars, restaurants and kiosks, there are beach massages are available, along with pedalos, jet skis, para-gliding available for hire. From the nearby Marina, many boat trips are available ranging from the ferry to Fuengirola, to Dolphin watching, catamaran cruises, power boats and gentle trips along the coastline. The Marina is also home to bars, restaurants and shops - some of which are more upmarket and an impressive sea-life center.
Away from the beach there is a beautiful park in Benalmádena - Parque De La Paloma - and in Torremolinos there is the largest water park on the Costa del Sol - Aqualand - with amongst others offers a 'Kamikaze' ride which is reputedly the highest in Europe; lots of fun to be had here but its not cheap! There is a cable car to the top of the mountain behind the apartment, an Arabian style red 'fort on the promenade at Benalmadena, shopping on Calle San Miguel in Torremolinos and in Benalmádena Pueblo - a typical Andalucian white-washed village which is a short drive or bus journey away - you can gain a sense of what it was like before we all came here to enjoy the sun. Also in the Pubelo is a Buddhist stupa which in addition to giving a sense of being in Tibet has good views along the coast.
There are many shops in the area advertising trips to other cities and towns in Andalucía such as Seville, or Granada (for the stunningly beautiful Moorish Alhambra) or Ronda, you can also visit Gibraltar. But you should not overlook Malaga itself which can be reached from the nearby El Pinillo train station for very little cost. Malaga is great for shopping (particularly El Corte Ingles) and has a wonderful food market - Mercado Central Atarazanas - and the old part near the cathedral is truly full of interest, with the Alcazaba and Picasso museums, further away is the Botanical Gardens.
